Title: Because nobody truly ever knows who they are.
Description: Especially Lucifer. *Open to anyone*

Arcane Blood - September 3, 2004 10:16 PM (GMT)
Lucifer shoved his hands into his pockets, walking across a sidewalk, cursing and muttering hateful, nasty things randomly. He had thrown on a shirt to hide his humiliatingly thrashed body, and it appeared to already have been ripped. It was plain and black, and not one Lucifer had fancied thankfully, but it was still ripped. Lucifer didn't like that.

Blood, bruises and scars were half-assly hidden by the shirt, though blood still appeared to be trickling down his face. Another incident with the pavement. Another incident with idiots. He was lucky he was still alive and hadn't had a broken skull.

He had obviously come from the bad end of town, and was just now entering the city.

His old black combat boots made noise against the pavement as he slammed his feet down when he walked, and his blood red hair bounced everytime he did so, white streaks obviously doing the same thing.

His hair was mangled and slightly damp, for it was trickling. Not quite raining, but... misting, I suppose you could call it. It clung to the front of his sweat covered, blody face as he continued to walk, having no intention of getting anywhere at all. Just to get away.

((Mind if we have a brotherly reunion here?))

His old black combat boots made noise against the pavement as he slammed his feet down when he walked.

His old black combat boots made absolutly no noise as he walked almost casually across the pavement. He was wearing a tight black muscle shirt with a short sleeved black button up shirt over it, unbuttoned with white patterns around the bottom, his jeans are, surprisingly, normal today, just a pair of baggy black jeans one long silver wallet chain hanging on his right side. His black hair is braided into many little braids, some streaked with blood red. Around his eyes, though the misty rain stuff was causing it to dissipate, was thick white eyeliner, his eyes shadowed heavily with gray. His lips are lined in white as well, colored in black. His nails are painted black white black white.

And he’s following his brother, silently. He’s not really ‘stalking’ persay. To Jehovah, it’s only stalking if your studying the other and the other doesn’t know you or that you’ve ever followed them. And even then, he only considers it stalking if your planning to kidnap, rape, kill, or all of the above.

No. He’s not Stalking Lucifer, just following him. And now he’s not even doing that. To Get his half-brother’s attention, Jehovah takes a leap off the pavement, landing with both feet together, in the center of a puddle that Lucifer is fourtunate enough to be standing just far enough not to be splashed. That satanic Morbid smile that he always had on his face plastered there right now.

Arcane Blood - September 5, 2004 12:55 AM (GMT)
((Not at all.))

He whips around. He's just about to curse and flip him off when he sees it's Jehovah. Where had he been for the past... forever?

He shifted his weight uneasily, studying his brother. He looked nice today, even if he was keeping it slightly simple. And in any case, he had looked much better than Lucifer at the current moment. "Why do you always seem to creep up on me when I look like shit?" Lucifer inquired, raising his eyebrows slightly.

He wondered how long he'd been watching him. He'd wondered if he'd saw what had happened before. If he had, Lucifer probably would have been slightly embarrased.

"And shouldn't you be stalking someone else?" He asked, wiping trickling blood from the corner of his lips, and placing one hand on his hip, resting it there in the oh so casual manner of his. It was simply a part of Lucifer's charm.

Massacist - September 5, 2004 05:14 AM (GMT)
Jehovah smiled at his brothers reaction, and then the smile grew with Lucifer’s words. From the moment he’d jumped in the puddle and Lucifer had turned around, Jehovah hadn’t stopped moving. He left the puddle and walked towards his brother, then he’d circled him once.

As he came back around to stand in front of Lucifer, he put his hands on either side of his face and leaned forward, he licked Lucifer’s lip in a semi-kissing fashion, licking the blood from his lip. Then he dropped his hand and pulled back.

He shrugged in reply to Lucifer’s first question. “You’re just lucky I guess.” He smiled, that smile as charming as Lucifer, though Jehovah lacked the overall charm that his brother possessed. But where Lucifer had charm, Jehovah had stealth. He was moving like silk flowing over silk, his feet or clothing, even the chain, made absolutely no noise, his breath silent, almost like he wasn’t breathing at all.

As for the second question, he stepped to Lucifer’s side to continue his walking. “I’ve uh…taken care of him already,” yeah, dumped him cleanly in the amusement park, “so I have no current stalkee.” He looked his brother over. “What the hell happened to you anyways? You do look like shit,” he agreed with his brother. His tone wasn’t worried for Lucifer, just mildly curious. He never worried about anything.

(Obviously I'm on Emrys' sn...))

Arcane Blood - September 5, 2004 05:27 PM (GMT)
Lucifer stood there for a time just watching Jehovah circle him, hand still planted gently on his hip. He allowed Jehovah to touch him, and if not for the circumstances, he might've enjoyed it. But right now he just put up with it because he was used to it.

"Lucky?" Lucifer questioned, raising his eyebrows once again. He was still watching Jehovah as he walked. "Didn't your mother ever teach you not to pace?" He asked, though he clearly knew Jehovah wasn't pacing. He was... circling, as stated earlier. But he was, compared to Lucifer, rather graceful.

Brushing that comment aside, Lucifer's mind drifted to the next subject. Nothing important, and not a real conversation starter, but he had to take interest in it., just because Lucifer was odd like that. "And I suppose since you disposed of your client you were bored?" He blinked. Jehovah was an interesting man. Interesting in Lucifer's point of view.

"Me? Oh, I had some fun falling off a balcony. I think the concrete really likes me." He paused. "And some idiots don't know when to call it a day." He said with a gentle shrug of the arm.

Massacist - September 6, 2004 01:01 AM (GMT)
A smile that could be a perfect match to his half brother's crept over his white and black lips while Lucifer spoke of his previous stalkee. Back to the first topic for a moment, Lucifer's shitty appearance. He pat his brother's cheek. "Don't worry. I've seen you at your best so far before too."

"Where are we going?" he asked, inviting himself along. He saw no reason to ask permission to be invited, because if he didn't invit himself, he would have just followed Lucifer silently until they reached their destination, then revealed himself. Eaither way, he would have been there. "My friend and I, we had a little disagreement. I wasn't bored. He was unfaithful. And I gave him a second chance, and he couldn't show me he could make amends. He was weak, If i hadn't done what I did, someone else would have." Slow smile on his lips again.

"I'm not board. It's been a while since I've seen my little brother and I thought I'd check on you. And it looks like I yet again have good timing." Good timing to catch you whenever you look like shit and good timing to possibly still get the guys who'd got his brother. Since he'd decided he didn't want to kill Lucifer, he'd become that protective brother that he hadn't gotten to be when he was growing up as the 'only' child. "Who were they?" He asked, what was intended for these people was obviously some sort of torture, murder, or rape, but Jehovah asked of them as if he were doing no more then asking where a friend was.

(Obviously on the brothers sn...Why does he always beat me to the computer?)

Arcane Blood - September 6, 2004 01:28 AM (GMT)
He smiled slightly. Not really a soft smile, but a smile like someone had just heard something humorous. And it soon faded. "My best, eh? And how would you know that?" He asked. He half-expected to get some kind of smart ass remark for that question. He asked too many questions.

"Nowhere, as far as I'm concerned." Small silence. Expressionless pause. Break of thought at his next remark. "Oh, really? Your friend now? And what sin did he do against Jehovah, now?" He couldn't help that comment.

"Good timing?" Try horrible timing. Why wasn't he there when it was happening? "Yeah, good timing my ass. And I haven't seen you in forever. What did you do, take a shit and fall in the toilet?" Smart ass. He placed his other hand on his hip, then dropped his right hand from it. "Eh. Nobody." Another gentle shrug. "Nobody worth my time anyway." Emotionless expression returned again.

Massacist - September 6, 2004 01:57 AM (GMT)
"Yes your best." Sly grin, Jehovah had told Lucifer he'd stalked him thoroughly but he wasn't sure how serious Lucifer thought he'd been. "How would I know? Well, presonally I don't find anything more atractive then watching you stand in the shower with water running over your flesh." Not a smartass coment, but something he was sure to suprise his brother.

"So we're just walking then." He nodded. "I can use a walk." Nothing about Jehovah was expressionless, so even that silent pause, he found soemthing to make it 'all about Jehovah'. He reached over and twisted a bit of his brothers hair in one finger. Hadn't his hair been brown last time? Not red? mental note: Pay attintion to details. Just because you're not going to kill him dosn't mean overlook things.

"My friend?" Never a name mentioned. "He cheated." He replied flatly. "And when I gave him a second chance, he only prooved he was weak and unworthy." He never gave any details, names or anything. But if Lucifer paied attintion to both Jehovah and the news, he might make a connection to what exactly went on.

I haven't seen you in forever

Jehovah nodded. "I was busy. They found another body and put me on the case. The district captians not come out of the closet," he murmered. "But he 'fancies' me so he's been handing me cases left and right." Jehovah was the only man in the district (of the cops for his district) that was openly gay.

Massacist - September 6, 2004 03:39 AM (GMT)
Meh...double post. Sorry.

Arcane Blood - September 6, 2004 04:49 PM (GMT)
Indeed, it did surprise him, but his face didn't show it. It showed nothing. And why? He didn't know. "What, so now you watch me in the shower, too?" Not an irritated tone in his voice, surprisingly. Not even a trace of one. Actually, it was slightly... amused.

"Walking until we found something else to do." He hadn't nodded, just said it and got it over with.

No further question as far as that subject went. As far as Lucifer was concerned, he'd left it to his mind to try and string things together.

"Another body, eh?" He asked, but it was more of a question to himself. "Who doesn't fancy you, anyway?" Lucifer asked. Small smile this time.

Thorn - September 6, 2004 05:17 PM (GMT)
"What, so now you watch me in the shower, too?"

A rise of an eyebrow and an amused look in his eyes. Another small smile touches his lips and he puts one hand into the pocket of the plain pants.

"What makes you think I just started?" What an eerie idea. To know that at any random time, someone, not just someone, the brother who weeks ago wanted to murder you, is watching you.

Walking. Walking's good, he did plenty of it, but for his brother, he would walk. And dropped that subject, it was dead now...just like his friend. A smile at that thought. another body eh?

Maybe his brother is figuring out what he does on his spare time, well, when the people he's with on his spare time are disloyal anyways. It dosn't bother him. No one else in the world knew Jehovah did the things he did so there was no one else to make the connection. Coupled with the fact that he worked with all of his own cases and lead them in the wrong direction, he could throw up on cue (so he could throw up on the scene when he sees the bodies) and he's a wonderful actor. No one would ever know.

He shruged. Even other men on the force who weren't gay had befriended Jehovah, he made himself liked. "I'm not sure."

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 12:09 AM (GMT)
How scary. Jehovah had been watching him for... who knew how long. The thought of that was eerie indeed.

He just continued to walk aimlessly. He had nothing to do, and no intent of doing anything at all. It was dead silence, Lucifer realized, until Jehovah started talking again. He psuhed his shoulder gently. "You ass. How do you do it? I swear, there's a fuckin' mob of people that don't like me." Just a small smile; everything else appeared to be distant, as if focused on something else. His eyes definitely had a glazed over look.

Massacist - September 7, 2004 12:56 AM (GMT)
A soft chuckle. The second comment about watching him in the shower was a bit more along the lines of the effect he wanted.

Another soft chuckle on his comment. He used his own shoulder to bump his brother back, but because he was taller, he ended up bumping him with his arm. Then he drapped that arm over his brothers shoulder lazily.

"Because I'm tougher on people then you are." It might be true. Oh how true it was. Maybe he should be a little less 'tougher' on people. If he didn't lighten up, to many rapped, murdered, naked bodies would pop up.

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 01:10 AM (GMT)
Walking on forever. Or what seemed like forever. Lucifer noted a couple walking ahnd and hand. They looked so perfectly innocent, and so good together. God, he was jealous. He shoved his hands into his jean pockets, not able to reach back over Jehovah's shoulder because he was so short.

He almost shrugged. "Yeah. I guess I'm just too nice." He was infamous for being too nice. He got walked over for it, too.

Massacist - September 7, 2004 01:34 AM (GMT)
He looked amused by the couple. He would harass them if they turned around and looked at them, but they had their backs to them and were probably in their own little dream world.

Oh well, no harm done then. He keeps his arm over his brothers shoulders and smiled.

"I don't know. I kind of like the push over you," his way of agreeing that his brother was a push over. He chuckled softy.

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 01:50 AM (GMT)
Lucifer raised an eyebrow, "Oh, really? And why would that be?" He asked. He was feeling a little bit better now that Jehovah was with him. At least he wasn't thinking about all those damn people.

"I'd like it if I could just say 'go fuck yourself' to everyone I don't like, but I can't. It's a pain in the ass sometimes."

Massacist - September 7, 2004 02:41 AM (GMT)
He chuckled. "Because if your a push over you make my job as an older brother and commanding you around a lot easier." He laughed this time.

"And I can tell you to go fuck yourself...and you do it."

That might not be because he's a push over, Jehovah was a rather frightening person when he didn't get his way...thus the tortured bodies that were popping up all over town...usually once a month.

"Don't worry, Luc. You'll get tougher hanging around my ass too much."

((I was thinking, can we give their father some sort of name besides 'that bastard'. It makes rping easier.))

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 04:06 PM (GMT)
((Hm. Yeah, sure. What would his name be though?))

He laughed. "That's true. But I'd rather 'go fuck myself' than get chained to your couch again, thanks." Lucifer knew the consequences of hanging around Jehovah, and he certainly didn't want to face them. "And I'd rather not become another one of your dead bodies." Small grin.

"Psh, yeah. Just wish I was tougher last week." Bad thought. Something family related. He tried to shrug it off. "My mother died." That hurt to say, but he said it anyway. He needed to get it out of his system.

Thorn - September 7, 2004 11:07 PM (GMT)
(Anything....just something simple to identify him by like Joe or Ted or Bob or something. It dosn't mater.)

Jehovah smiled. "I don't know. I kind of liked you chained there." A morbidly evil grin on his lips. Then that second statment and he smiled truthfully. "I was curious how long you could be oblivious to that." A sick sense of humore there. He wondered silently if Lucifer had also figured out he worked his own muder cases. "How did you ever find out?" A false shocked voice. He was a really good actor.

My mother died

The smile left his lips. In fact, everything about Jehovah became humorous. He was emptying himself, blocking himself from the only thing that could make him hurt. His arm drapped over Lucifer's shoulder subconciously pulled his brother closer to him for a breif second, then moved him back to the casual arm over shoulder. He didn't say I'm sorry. He was of course. But his perfectly built wall of defense against pain like that would crumble if he said it.

"How?"

His way of saying 'was it our father?'

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 11:24 PM (GMT)
(Ah. Sure. The first thing that comes to mind is fine.)

"Some stalking of his own had found him out that much, but he wasn't going to admit that much. He purposely avoided it. Jehovah could ask him later if he really wanted to know.

"Not sure," he said, taking a moment to recollect himself. "I called her house and father answered. It makes me wonder..." Sarcastic tone. He still wasn't sure what happened, though.

Thorn - September 7, 2004 11:29 PM (GMT)
Jehovah's eyebrows had creased inward to form a frown. He watched Lucifer's face in silance, annalysing his brother for what he was worth at the moment. It was there father. That much he knew. And he knew that Lucifer knew this too.

"What's he doing at your mother's house? He moved in with that prostitute." He'd had an eye on his father until the man finally settled into that whore house. Now he was thinking on paying the old man a visit, secretly of course. Just to check up on him. He was waiting just a little longer before he'd actualy 'do the deed'.

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 11:37 PM (GMT)
"Don't know. All I know is he just 'happened' to be there when it supposedly happened." He paused a minute in silence. He just stopped walking at that point. Just stopped randomly. He had to stop talking about this before it started to erode his wall of emotionlessness. He cleared his face, returning his voice to the dull tone it carried before.

"Anyways... I don't care."

Thorn - September 7, 2004 11:43 PM (GMT)
Jehovah felt sorry for his brother. A feeling he hadn't felt since his own mother had died. He stopped with Lucifer, arm still over his shoulder.

"I know."

Not 'I know you don't care.' His tone clearly said 'I know you're hurt. I know how you feel.' He looked at his brother, watching him in silance. Obviously another thing in common that ran in their bloodline, denil was their firm ground. Emotionlessness was a sanctuary.

The Bastard would pay for this.

((Lets just call him Ted then. Three leters, simple name.))

Arcane Blood - September 7, 2004 11:53 PM (GMT)
((Ted works.))

He did care. A lot.

He could almost tell Jehovah felt sorry for him, but not quite. His hands were still stuffed in his pockets, but in a way where his thumbs were sticking out. Lucifer blinked, not sure what to say. All he really knew that he was (hopefully, for this moment of time) safe with his brother beside him, and actually comforted by his presence.

He decided to walk again, eyes focused on the path ahead of them, but on nothing in particular.

"You know he has a daughter now, too?" Jehovah probably did. He was just trying to talk again.

Thorn - September 8, 2004 12:10 AM (GMT)
(I'll assume you're reply will be yes or 'whatever works' but if it isn't then I'll edit the post and make Jehovah oblivious.)

Jehovah made a snorting sound from his throat, rolling his eyes upward.

"And why not? He can't keep his fucking dick in his pants."

An awful sneer. He looked at Lucifer from the corner of his eyes.

"How'd you find this out? When he was on the phone with you?"

Still a sneer.

Arcane Blood - September 8, 2004 12:15 AM (GMT)
That must've provoked him or something. Lucifer felt sorry for his new daughter more than he felt sorry for anyone else.

"Bastard wasn't reluctant to say it. He was almost proud." He kept his eyes focusless, not caring if Jehovah was sneering at him.

Thorn - September 8, 2004 12:21 AM (GMT)
Not at him. About their father. He hated the man for what he was worth, for what all three of them were worth.

"Fuck!"

The shout bounced back to them off the walls of the brick buildings. His hand on Lucifer's shoulder had balled part of his shirt sleeve into his fist. Their father having a baby girl made it so much harder. He never left a child parentless. Ever. No matter how bad someone cheatedd or betrayed or even did nothing. If they had a kid and the kid had no where to go, he wouldn't do it.

Arcane Blood - September 8, 2004 12:36 AM (GMT)
Feet shuffled. He remained silent, chewing on his lower lip subconsciously. He wasn't sure what to say now. Just keep walking. He allowed Jehovah to clench some of the material on his shirt into his fist and this time didn't try to strike up conversation. He hadn't figured out why Jehovah shouted just yet, and he wasn't even going to try, nor ask.

Thorn - September 8, 2004 07:50 PM (GMT)
He dropped his arm from his brothers shoulder and swung at thin air, getting out some frustration. "Fuck!" He shouted again. He stopped screaming and turned to his brother, putting his large hands on Lochan's slim shoulders.

His hands on Lucifer's shoulders, his thumbs could wrap all the way around the front of his brothers throat, and they did.

"He's got a fucking Kid Lucifer. What the hell am I suposed to do now?"

((How old is the sister?))

Arcane Blood - September 8, 2004 08:26 PM (GMT)
((Pretty young. I'd say about one.))

"Hands off me, fucker!" Lucifer shouted, placing his small slender hands on top of Jehovah's and tried (to no avail) to pry his brother's hands off his neck, even if it was a loose grip. "Calm the fuck down Jehovah. How should I know what the hell to do? It was your damn idea in the first place."

Thorn - September 20, 2004 11:13 PM (GMT)
"You fucking want in too." He snarled the words with force, not allowing his brother to remove his hands, nor did he bother removing them himself.

He groaned and closed his eyes. What was he going to do now? He couldn't drop the little brat off at an orphanage. He wouldn't let himself do it. What about the mother. She wouldn't take care of the kid.

Now he was in a bad mood. "Fuck." One hand drops off of Lucifer's shoulder and he begins to walk again.

Arcane Blood - September 20, 2004 11:26 PM (GMT)
Yeah, so? It was still his idea. Now he wasn't quite sure about it, and he really couldn't think, seeing as he couldn't even breathe right at that moment. That is, until he let go and started to walk again. Jehovah could be so moody at times.

Lucifer took a moment to breathe, then followed (not so happily, mind you) his brother. Maybe he didn't want to walk alongside him right now.

Massacist - September 21, 2004 11:28 PM (GMT)
Jehovah said nothing now. His mind was off of Lucifer, on their fathers death, on the little girl he'd seen the last time he'd been lurking around there. He sure as hell wasn't going to take it. Not that he minded haveing a sister. It was just that, well, he was not affectionate towards children.

Maybe he could shove the little beasty off on Lucifer. Maybe. It was an Idea.

Arcane Blood - September 21, 2004 11:47 PM (GMT)
His mind currently wasn't on anything, and he didn't speak. If he did, it would probably anger him further, and he'd prefer not to have his neck rung at that time. He wasn't even thinking of the matter he'd just mentioned.

But there was absolutely no way in hell Lucifer was going to take the child. Did he look like a person that was fit to be a father?

Massacist - September 21, 2004 11:55 PM (GMT)
Compared to Jehovah, Lucifer looked like a saint that would and could be a father. Wait. Another idea. He'd give it to some bitch on the squad. Those women on the force always loved children but never bothered to marry. Maybe one of them could take the thing.

Jehovah slide onehand into his back pocket. Yes. That was a grand idea. He turned to Lucifer.

"I have things to do."

He kissed his brother, tongue crawling over the spot that was cut on his brother's lip. Then turned on his heels.
