Title: Violence is Violence

Massacist - August 20, 2004 01:13 PM (GMT)
Verkur watched the woman squirm, holding her stomach tightly in a pitifully weak attempt at holding her blood in, though it simply spilled out around her fingers. She was attempting to scream, but all that formed from between those pale lips was a wet gargle and then blood came forth and stained her ghostly lips red. Her other hand came to her mouth, holding her palm over her lips in another weak attempt to stop the blood flow.

“Oh for fuck sake, die already will ya!” His voice was a raspy sound that spoke almost like a whisper. Verkur was squatting next to her body, perched on the balls of his feet, sitting on the heels. He was a regal appearing figure of an unnatural height of six foot eight inches. Tonight, the demon of chaos was dressed in a pair of ankle boots that were wore loose and floppy on the ankle area, his black leather pants running into them. His pants were snug fitting against his legs as well as a black leather belt around his slim waist. Over his chest is a tight nylon shirt that hugged to him like a second skin. His legs and stomach are muscularly thin, his chest is more narrow then skinny. You needed some extra upper-body strength to support the large leathery wings on his back. His wings reach up a centimeter over his head, coming to claw-like points where a part of the top bone stuck out of the leather muscle just a little. And the bottom of the wing fell half way down his calf. The wings were tattered from years and years, technically well over eight hundred years, of use. Around the wrists he wore two solid leather wrist bands and around his throat a solid leather collar. The collar was fitted to sit low enough to show what seemed to an ignorant eye, just a tattoo. It was his masters mark.

Something had compelled Verkur to braid all his hair into a million little braids, a little black or white bead at the end of each black, mid-back length braids. He’d also taken make-up to his eyes, a thick dark line of charcoal black around each eye, just causing his glowing white eyes to become all the more noticeable.

Finally, the body in front of him stopped thrashing around. He’d caused a car accident, a man on a bike and this woman in a car. Needless to say, the man on the bike was already dead. A piece of the bikers handle bar had come through her wind-shield and gone through her abdomen. He reached out a pale hand and stroked her hair with his claws. His fingers had, instead of frail, thin, human fingernails, four inch long pieces of bone that jutted from his fingers like claws...they were claws.

“There’s a good lass.” He mimicked the voice of a Scottish, then stood up. The road was deserted since it was located in an emptier part of the town, close to the perimeter. Not many people were out this late around here. So Verkur walked to a payphone and picked up the receiver. He dialed 9-1-1. “Hello. Officer? There’s been an accident.” He hung up the phone and walked away, chuckling to himself.

"There are many forms of violence, Verkur...You really should pay more attention," Viol had said. Now Verkur was paying attintion. Now he saw a way around his code. "Violence is violence, Verkur...my follower...My angel of chaos..."

(OOC: Hope you don't mind if I join in...)

On the low, flat roof of a nearby building, another demon had been watching the murder. Eddy stood tall on his lofty perch, never bothering to hide himself from possible onlookers, or indeed this new, winged demon.
Eddy watched the crash and the following murder with a pensive smile on his face and a dangerous glint in his fiery eyes. Here, entirely by chance, he had found a demon who was very similar to him, for Eddy also was a violence-loving trouble-maker with extensive claws as his weapons.

As Verkur started wandering away from the chaotic scene, Eddy also moved. The nimble Thought Demon jumped onto the next roof, stepped casually along it, then hopped down, landing lightly on his feet just as Verkur was walking past.

"Obviously I'm not as unique as I thought I was..." Eddy murmured, arching a sly brow as he lent back against the wall.
"You know, the whole claws and tight fashion thing..." he added, gesturing vaguely with one clawed hand.

Massacist - August 21, 2004 04:23 PM (GMT)
Verkur almost pointedly ignored the other. He cared nothing for other demons, though he knew they existed in this plain and time. He would have to e careless and stupid to think otherwise.

But as the similarities were pointed out, his glowing white eyes turned on the other demon. He'd smelt him earlier. Even over the scent of all the blood, Verkur had smelt him nearby. But he hadn't cared. He didn't like being told he was similar to anyone. Because he wasn't.

"You are nothing like me, Demon." The Demon of Chaos turned his eyes away and continued to walk. "What God do you follow?" Well that's a weird question. The demon's wings folded aginst his back and over his shoulders. Suddenly the wings looked like nothing more then a leather black cloak.

DarkLight - August 21, 2004 05:03 PM (GMT)
Folding his arms across his slim chest, Eddy had nodded sagely at Verkur's first comment.
"Well hey, that's a good thing. I was getting worried that I might have some competition..."
The demon grinned fiercely, then pushed himself away from the wall and casually started following after the Demon of Chaos.

Hearing Verkur's unusual question, Eddy tapped a claw against his chin in an exagerated gesture of thoughtfulness, before replying,
"God? Hmm.... Nope, no god."
The Thought Demon watched with mild interest as the other demon folded those great wings away behind his back. Then, for the sake of conversation, Eddy asked,
"I take it that you follow one, then?"

Massacist - August 21, 2004 05:15 PM (GMT)
"God? Hmm.... Nope, no god."

"Good," he grumbled in his husky deep voice. When he spoke, even if he was not whispering, it sounded as if someone were whispering into your ear.

"I take it that you follow one, then?"

"Follow one, no. Obey one, I obey Sanigius." He replied. My love, my angel of chaos, my demon Verkur was his demon, he'd gotten used to that. But he'd also become possessive of the God. Sans was his god. And he was Sans demon. And from the way Viol spokem he was his only demon. And Verkur wanted it to stay that way. It made the relationship between master almighty and loyal worshiper seem more personal to the demon.

"What demon are you?"

DarkLight - August 31, 2004 10:41 AM (GMT)
"I'm what's known as a Thought Demon." Eddy replied with a smile. "Although, technically I'm not a Thought Demon anymore, since I'm real now - solid flesh and blood!" The demon proudly tapped his claws against his chest as if to prove the point.
Eddy then glanced at Verkur and said, "What about you? You seem like an important guy. You have that look."

Massacist - August 31, 2004 03:41 PM (GMT)
Verkur paused and reached a claw over, dragging the sharp tip down the others chest, drawing a thin trail of blood.

"Yeah." He brought his claw back and licked the blood off the tip. "That's blood all right." He dropped his clawed hand back to his side and once again turned his back on the THought demon.

"I'm the demon of Chaos from the relms of Chaos." Yes, indeed, he was important. In fact, he was overly strong and overly powerful and he was overly cocky. In fact, he was too powerful that he needed a restriction code.

DarkLight - September 1, 2004 10:44 AM (GMT)
For a demon who was usually the advancer rather than the one being advancing on, Verkur's sudden move came as something of a shock to Eddy. Though the Thought Demon's strength and quick reflexes should have been enough to at least deflect Verkur's 'attack', Eddy antisipated the all too familiar move, and so did not try to stop him.

As Verkur ran his claw across Eddy's chest, a sudden wave of pleasure seemed to wash over the demon, and as Verkur removed his claw, Eddy stepped back, almost staggering. The Thought Demon then watched, with some amount of longing, as the other demon proceeded to lick the blood from his claw.

"Well, I don't know about Chaos, but you certainly seem to know how to make people tick..." Eddy said with a sudden grin, placing a clawed hand over the thin yet bloody wound on his chest.

Eddy then frowned as Verkur turned away from him and once again started walking away.
"Hey! Where are you off to in such a hurry, anyway..."

Massacist - September 1, 2004 09:03 PM (GMT)
Verkur paused again, having ignored every bit of pleassure on the others face, all the longing at licking his bloody claws went seemingly unnoticed. But Verkur had noticed, he always noticed. He looked over his broad gray shoulder again, eyes narrowed to slight slits. His gaze moved to the car accident, the fire licking at the car and the motorcycle, begining to devoure the body of the the motorcyclist. The smell of burning flesh was sifting around, people had begun to congrigate and the wail of an ambulance and firetruck could be heared not far off.

"I entertained myself, and now I'm bored." He said, turned his back once again to the other Demon and continued to walk. "I will go find something else to...play with." He turned a corner, attempting to block out the screaming sirens. "Your name, thought demon?"

Verkur had a sifting thought to attack the Thought Demon, that would entertain him...for a little while.

DarkLight - September 9, 2004 04:41 PM (GMT)
As Verkur turned away from him once more, Eddy rolled his eyes in an unimpressed way, and this time he did not bother to follow. He was quickly starting to find the Chaos Demon far too reclusive to be worth his efforts.
There was, however, one thing that did still interest him, and as he considered it, the demon's sly gaze slid once again to the thin wound on chest, and slowly he raised a hand to start licking his own blood from his fiercesome claws.

When he heard a question being directed at him, the Thought Demon replied without looking up.
"Eddy. Yours?"
Now the demon did look up, just in time to see Verkur turning a corner. Eddy tutted and folded his arms. "Walking away while talking to someone is a sign of madness, you know..." he called out after Verkur, in a slightly taunting tone...

General Tao - September 10, 2004 02:18 AM (GMT)
"So is talking to yourself," A deep and hoarse voice intoned, the chill oncoming-fall air ascending in temprature as a young man simply appeared. Nothing to it, really. Where there was no condensed matter, now there was, tan skin and all. Red eyes smiled along with lush lips, a few strands of dred-locked hair obscuring the unwavering gaze.

A young man of eighteen, at least. A magnificient one at that...Tight black denim trousers, ripped at the knees and with a dark red stain on the left thigh in the shape of a human hand. This was paired with a white wife-beater, which was a wonderful shock against golden skin. All this covered an athletic and toned unbulky frame. The smile, as dazzling as ever, showed slightly sharpened canines, although subtly so.

The air smelt like instinct, blood, and uncertainty, as the God leaned against the lamp post on the actual corner. He glanced in Verkur's direction without moving his head before flicking his his focus back towards the other demon. He crossed his arms over his chest.

(( Hope you don't mind my jumping...Ignore if you feel it doesn't work and don't hesitate to tell me if so! ))

Massacist - September 14, 2004 03:17 AM (GMT)
Eddy? What kind of demon name is that? Eddy? Sounded more like the name of a mortal, and to Verkur, that was an insult among the worst kind. The Demon did not deam Eddy worthy of an answer, but nevertheless, he provided an answer.

"Vyncrya."

A bored hiss.

Walking away while talking to someone is a sign of madness, you know...

Verkur stopped, wings relaxed, almost spread open but not quite. He didn't back up around the corrner, nor did he have the curtosy, or maybe he just lacked the mannors to turn around again and face Eddy.

"Then maybe I am mad." No, he's not mad. Just not kind. And then the pressance. He didn't see Viol appear as much as first he'd sensed his pressance, then he'd smealt him, that sweet smell. Verkur closed his white eyes, savoring his God's pressance with a slight smile. The mark of his God on his own body throbbing, probably only in his own mind rather then anything truely pysichal.

Opening his white eyes, he turned on his heels and managed an inclination of his head before a complete bow is formed. He's not sucking up. Not this time.

"Divinity."

Respect. Utter respect in his voice.

DarkLight - September 16, 2004 12:23 PM (GMT)
Eddy replied to the God haughtily before looking to see who he was actually talking to.
"Well the only reason I look like I'm talking to myself is because that ponce over there keeps wandering off!"
The Thought Demon waved a clawed hand vaguely in Verkur's direction, then folded his arms and turned to observe the one who'd stepped out from the darkness.

Eddy slowly blinked his fiery eyes as he took in the God's appearance. He was suitably surprised, yet as always, unruffled. Eddy had never encountered the God of Violence before, yet somehow, he just knew.
The demon grinned widely "Well!" he breathed. "This is a pleasure..."

General Tao - September 18, 2004 03:30 AM (GMT)
"Not yet," Viol corrected, appraising both demons without the slight inclination to perhaps do so subtly. He pushed off of the lamp post gently, walking first towards Verkur with his usual enigmatic smirk. The lamp post had scorch marks on it.

"What did I say about calling me Divinity? Honestly, Verkur, I'm giving you pearls of wisdom here, do try to keep up. It makes me feel so..." He glanced over at Eddy, "Old."

He took the few steps seperating him from this unknown demon in a blink, looking him over from head to toe. "And who is your new friend, my chaotic angel?" He didn't bother to ask the demon himself...Because that would be decent.

Massacist - September 18, 2004 03:54 AM (GMT)
Verkur nodded.

"Sans," he corrected himself. Playing kiss ass with the gods for so many centuries, the titles rolled from his tongue all too naturally now. The thought of Sans feeling old, despit his youthful appearance, was in a way humorous to the demon.

"Can age be associated with the Gods, Viol?" Just a fleeting though on the demon's mind. And what better....being?...to ask then A God himself.

"It's name is Eddy," he replied, it was still so obvious what the stuck up, cocky Demon thought of this other Thought Demon. "But If I can say, Friend would not be my choice of words."

DarkLight - September 19, 2004 09:01 PM (GMT)
Eddy had continued to smile in a falsely pleasant way as the God looked him over - he even appeared calm as Viol called for the Chaos Demon to answer questions that Eddy could answer perfectly well on his own.
In a normal situation, the bloodthirsty demon's opponents would have been sliced into several bloody pieces by now. But of course this was not quite a 'normal situation', and these were not everyday opponents. Even so, the Thought Demon still did not feel in any way outclassed by the flashy demon lord and the even flashier god of violence - being ever confident in his abilites and wiser than his flamboyant manner let on.

But then came Verkur's scathing reply to Viol's question.

Eddy gaze lingered on Viol for a few moments afterwards, before slowly turning his head to stare at the other demon. He narrowed his cat-like eyes and tilted his head, as if having not clearly heard Verkur's words.
Then, with a tone of scathing wit, he said calmly, "Oh I'm sorry, what was that? You want me to ram all my claws up your backside? Really?"

Eddy glanced at Viol, a sly smile on his face and a mischievious glint in his eyes, as if willing the God to play along.
"That's what he really said, wasn't it? You of all people would know..."

General Tao - September 20, 2004 06:58 PM (GMT)
San raised a dark eyebrow, keeping his unnaturally steady gaze on the thought demon. "I am not 'people'...Eddy. And to answer your question Verkur," He glanced over his shoulder, "It was a joke." Hm...The chaos demon had been getting pretty comfortable with questions lately, from what San knew. He took a few steps back in order to watch the two demons from a comfortable distance. Comfortable for San, that is.

"But really...The both of you should lighten up. Don't take things so seriously. And Verkur, fine job on the code loopholes. Very touching. And Eddy..." He paused grinning widely, "Well, we'll see won't we?"

Massacist - September 28, 2004 08:33 PM (GMT)
Verkur had along the same thoughts as Sans had. He was most certinally not a people. But for all that mattered in Verkur's oppinion, San's was also not one of a god, one of the gods. He and he alone was almighty, death, apoth, none of them mattered to him, they didn't count as much as Sans, though he'd learned fear for Death recently. Not fear of death, he'd learned to fear Death.

To Viol, before responding to Eddy, His God comes first...suck up. Loopholes. MM...Yes...

"I'm glad you're pleased," was Viol pleased with that? "Yes, It was a joke, but it made me curious. Can it be assciated with you?"

Now Eddy. The less intimidating, by far, from Viol, and less superior, he thought, to everyone standing here. He simply cocked his head to the side. Eddy wasn't going to touch him, he wouldn't allow it, and he wasn't going to touch Eddy. He had no reason to. His white eyes shinned however...glee? Morbid freak and a kiss ass.

"That would become messy, wouldn't it?"

Thoughtful tones all but said he was storing that idea away from future use.

DarkLight - September 30, 2004 05:19 PM (GMT)
Eddy gave a theatrically disappointed sigh as Viol replied to him.
"Oh, sorry...You of all Gods should know..." The demon muttered with subtle sarcasm.
"And I'm perfectly 'lightened up'." he added, making a sarcastic 'whoop-dee-doo' gesture with his hands, before glancing at Verkur.

"Ye-es, messy indeed." The Thought Demon crooned musically, splaying his claws in a predatory fashion. "Messiness being your middle name, Mr Chaos?"
