Audrey was stretched out, fitting blue jeans yanked up to his knees with his feet in the water, getting misted by the small water fall that was to his right. He flopped over on his side, using his light green jacket as a pillow as well as his arms cushioning. Hey, he sort of matched. He had on a bit of a darker green shirt on.

Anyways, it seemed Audrey was enjoying the scenery here, closing his eyes. It was peaceful. Pretty nice actually. There wasn't really a lot of people bothering so he just got to kick back and relax without strangers' thoughts occasionally buzzing around his mind if he didn't put up blocks he was used to.

Audrey sighed some, swishing his feet in the water, making splashes. Sadly though, without people, it was quiet. He wasn't used to having so much silence around him. It would be nice to share someone's company.

Oh this was just too good to pass up. Bran was just passing by when whom did he see but his favorite telepathic? So, naturally, he decided to drop by and say hi.

But that would be too easy, wouldn't it? So he made sure to be extra quiet. He started to creep forward before he noticed that his shadow would cross when he got near. He couldn't have that, could he? So he changed angles.

He crept forward, making sure not to think too loudly(oh yesh, it could happen). And then he pounced.

"BOO!"

"AH! IT'S A MURDER! A MURDER!"

Audrey was probably half way to sleep when Bran did this.

"RED RUMMMM!" He grabbed his jacket from underneath his head and started beating Bran with it, not thinking a moment that if it was a true murder, they would have attacked him and not have had gone 'boo!'.

"What the hell? Wait!"

AHH! He was being attacked by a jacket! But he couldn't have been laughing any harder. He grabbed the jacket, trying to ward it off.

"Hello, Audrey. Tense?"

Audrey's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

"YOU!"

He flopped back onto the ground, casting an arm over his forehead. "I was almost asleep and you scared me! I didn't hear you!"

"Yeah, that's the point when I'm bein'" He made a motion akin to 'smooth,' "stealthy..."

Hey threw his arms about Audrey, "What'chu doin' out here?"

"Smooth my ass."

Audrey pouted, winding his arms around Bran's waist, throwing all his weight on him. "I was sleeping." He puffed his cheeks out, looking up at him. "I got sleepy, listening to the water after awhile. What about you?"

"Thought I'd take a swim." He unwound himself from Audrey. "Want to join me?"

He jumped in the water and proceeded to splash the life out of his friend. Sure it was sort of illegal to swim in it, and not exactly safe, but oh well!

"ARGH! I'M CLOTHED! I'M CLOTHED!" Audrey ran from the water, but he was already soaked. Grumbling, Audrey looked up and glared. "You'll pay for that~!"

Audrey ran into the water, slowed down though by it being all around him. He glared, trudging with determination to get to Bran, despite being splashed. "I'll ge-spphh~~" He got a mouthful of water and spent the rest of his time sputtering.

The current russhed around his feet, cooling him off. It was such a nice day...

"What? You'll get what? Ha ha ha!"

He backed away some more, taunting. "What, are you gonna get me?"

Audrey glared, "I'LL GET YOU!" He ran in again, but then time he tripped on a smooth river rock somehow, starting to flail. "AHH! BASTARD!" Well, hey, he blamed his clumsiness on him.

On a thought, he threw his weight towrds Bran, grinning evilly in hopes to knock him over and into the water.

"That's my nickname, isn't it? 'YOU BASTARD,' you seem to call me that a lot," he chuckled, stepping just out of Audrey's reach. And onto a rather slippery rock himself.

He landed on his rump, thoroughly setting himself up for a rush of attack.

Audrey went down with a loud splash, going under the water. He resurfaced soon, spitting out water like a hose, hacking and coughing.

'It should be! You do enough to deserve it!' His coughing subsided and he just sat back, raising his foot and placing it flat on Bran's chest, pushing him backwards.

"Run, run, run, as fast as you can!" he evaded(though just barely) another swipe at him, "You can't catch me! I'm the ging--" he had gotten a little cocky and left himself wide open. Audrey proceeded to dunk him.

Audrey sat up, cackling. "You're the SOGGY ginger bread man! Loser!" He fell back in the water, onto his elbows, snickering and cackling. Oooh, that was just too good.

After awhile though, Audrey curiously looked towards the water. "Bran? Ever comin' up?"

But Bran didn't come up. It was hardly deep water, but there were some pretty nasty looking rocks in that river bed. It would have been very easy for one to slip and bash their head on one...

Did his heart just skip a bit with terror? Ooh, he didn't know- it was time to think about this~!

"BRAN!"

He went searching like nuts and when he spotted his friend, he tugged him up, shaking Branwen almost to the bones. "Brannnn!"

After all that shaking, Bran started sputtering. He looked around wildly for a moment before he realized where he was.

"What happened?"

Audrey didn't give him much time for reaction behind he glomped Bran, sending them splashing into the water. Of course, his head was behind Branwen's head so it wouldn't be hit off. "I was worried!"

He removed his free hand and bonked him, now sounding slightly pissed. "I was REALLY worried!"

"What? No, really what happened?! One minute we're splashing each other, the next I'm under water and then in your arms!"

Audrey was obviosly shaken up about it, so Bran held back when he was glomped.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

Audrey dragged Bran up so that they could still be in the water, but rest their heads down out of it, just at shore. He curled up against Bran's side, using his arm like a pillow and his fingers death-gripped his shirt.

"Well, we -were- splashing, but you fell. You just didn't come back up and I was -worried-."

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to worry you." Had that really happened? He put one arm around Audrey and the other through his hair, trying to comfort him.

The water was pretty cold, and he was starting to shiver, but he didn't want to move if Audrey was still upset.

Audrey really did like the way he was being held, but alas, he felt him shiver. Darn. He puffed, wrapping his arms around Brans' waist, tugging him up while he tried to sit up.

"C'mon, you'll catch a colddd!"

He still tugged, but wasn't getting much luck. With what he gained, it was taken back soon enough when he tugged again.

Branwen sighed, not wanting to move but still being so cold. He helped push himself from the water and onto the bank. He was tired, but tried to think of something to stay awake.

So how have things been going with you lately?

Once onto the bank, Audrey curled up against him again, leaning. 'I haven't had any head-related pains for awhile. Job's been fine. What about you?' The way the tone of his voice went, he wanted to say more, but he just couldn't bring himself to say it. What he wanted to say was that he missed Bran and his company.

Well, don't suppose I can complain, his eyes drifted close, Eanna's arm/wing's been getting a lot better. I was going to go flying with her tomorrow. My job's been doing well, too. I'm still pissed at that dog.

He curled tightly around Audrey, looking for warmth and finding it. He yawned contentedly.

"Haven't seen you, though."

He smiled, fingers that were on Bran's arm slowly moving. That spurted a warm feeling inside of him.

"Really? I missed you." Saying out loud sounded more real to him.

'Oh, yeah, I'm still pissed off at that dog too. Thanks for helping me out of that bind. I think I would have slammed head first into a seizer if it wasn't for you.'

'S not a problem. What else would I do? Bran's thoughts were getting more sluggish as he started drifting off.

The chill started to leave him, and he inadvertantly repeated what Audrey had said so many nights ago at that club.

"You're warm."

He chuckled, nodding. "So are you." Well, for the time being, he decided to pick up where he had once left off, snatching back at his nap where he was. "Nighty." It'd be nice to wake up with someone, and especially nice to go to sleep.

Branwen barely registered what Audrey said, slipping into sleep at the speed only children seem to be capable of. And he was happy where he was.

The next time that he awoke, he was tangled in a mass of limbs, but VERY happy- and not to mention, REALLY warm. He cracked his toes, yawning while cracking an eye open, registering after awhile that it was Bran, looking over to see him and if he was still asleep.

Branwen, as a general rule, doesn't wake up well. He'll wake up groggy and then go back to sleep for a few hours. However, this was not a normal sleep, oh no. For the first time in a while, he actually awoke when he woke up. He was well rested and energized. It took him a second to realize that this was not his beadroom and that all that filled his vision was a white head.

"Huh?"

Audrey flopped down onto his chest, grinning at him. "Afternoon." Seemed they woke up towards the late afternoon, almost evening. "I just woke up." He let off a yawn, shifting around til he was pretty much nestled between Bran's legs and on top of his chest, laying his head down. It was comfy this way.

Well this was...comfortable. How long had they been asleep? He brought his hand up to look at his watch, but it had stopped working in the water.

Did Audrey know the time? Bran was hesitant to ask, he looked so..happy, sweet, content just lying there.

Audrey picked up the buzz of thoughts and grunted. "Dunno." He flopped his arm around til he came in contact and rummaged around, pulling out his cell phone and holding it in front of Bran's face. "That's the time."

He looked up, a tad sad that he might have to leave. "Do you need to go home or to work?"

"Shit, I need to be at work in twenty minutes." He really didn't want to go today, though. Normally it was fun, getting to make fun of the drunks without them knowing, but he just couldn't find it in him to want to do that today.

The only way I can get there in time is if I high tail it to my place. I can make the flight in ten minutes...

He thought about it, what it would entail, and found that it was really the only way to make it on time. His boss would swipe his tips again if he were late.

"I'm sorry, but I've got to go. Can I ask you a favor?"

Audrey frowned, sitting back on his feet between Bran's thighs, "What is it?" He sighed, sticking his lip out some. He was sulking.

He liked spending time with Bran and then he had to go to work. Well, this isn't fair! He leaned over some, laying his chin on his stomach, looking up expectantly for what Bran would say and then he'd have to move.

"Will ya take my clothes back to my place? I can't really transform with them on, so if you'd take them back, that'd be really great. I've got to get over to my place and then change for work and run over there or catch a bus."

He looked down at Audrey, "You do remember where my apartment is, don't you?"

He nodded. "I'll take them. Mind if I drop them off sometime after work tomorrow? I think I'm just gonna work on a poster before knocking out to bed." He grinned, stretching.

"Anyways, I want an excuse to see you again."

Of course he wouldn't mind, he was thinking something along those lines himself.

"And here comes the part where we've got to get up from an unbelievably comfortable position and I've got to find myself a bush. Sorry."
