Title: Alone.
Description: Bored, but not drunk.
Crazy_Kitty - March 25, 2004 04:10 AM (GMT)
The mug was untouched before him, translucent golden orbs fixed on it's alcoholic depth. It was rare, and rather foolish given his 'prettyness' (As one drunk had put it when he asked for the werewolf's price.) And more then once he had being mistaken for a prostitute, no matter that he neither acted nor looked like a whore. But then again, most of the patrons of this seedy pub were so drunk they probably thought the chairs they tripped over were fellow brawlers.
That was of course, judging by the amount of bloodied knuckles whenever one of the idiots did trip.
Now, one would have to ask the question, what was the quiet lycanthrope doing in such a place? Well, all one would have to do would be look at the lunar calender, for last night was the night of the full moon, and what else would the angsty Daniel be doing but planning on getting very drunk and tottering home at some ungodly hour?
Ebon strands fell forward messily, slim fingers raised from the chipped and battered tabletop to push back a stray band from delicate cream features, for once not formed into the usual oblivious smile, and crimson tinged lips pursed in annoyance as he patted his wallet- Just to check it hadn't being stolen as of yet.

Dear god, what was she doing here, I mean, sure, her teacher had said to 'try something new' but she was sure he hadn't meant this. And yet, here she was, Today black bangs fell smoothly to hercheekbones, though the back hed been spiked up precariously. A black hoodie enveloped her frame, hands held within the single pocket as she casually made her way towards the bar.
She slid into the seat, nodding to the bartender with a murmured "A scotch, thanks." she then turned her attention to the young man next to her, deciding that if she met anyone she knew, by chance or not, she would dismiss it as nothing more than homework, when did she do homework? Now, I suppose.
She smiled half heartedly at the werewolf, unknown to her exactly what he was, not that she was likely to care, she was weird, she knew that, and their had to be other freaks like her out there somewhere. But there probably weren't, knowing her luck she would be the only freak in the world, luck had hated her since birth, and she doubted that would ever change.
Crazy_Kitty - March 25, 2004 09:47 PM (GMT)
A faint smile flickered on his face as the girl whom had taken the seat next to him, eyen as pale golden orbs slid up and down her form questioningly. Not in lust, or anything, but just to cheek that indeed there were no guns hidden beneath her jacket, or anything else that might put him in a world of pain.
Grimacing as he sipped at the sour but nevertheless intoxicating liquid, the lycanthrope starred up at the battered ceiling for a few instants before daring to start a conversation. Normally he would of avoided such contact, but in this bar, it was more then a little difficult to be alone. And maybe if he was talking to someone, people would stop bloody well hitting on him and asking his price.
"What are you doing down here? Isn't exactly the best place for people to hang out.. If you don't mind me asking, that is, of course."
§infatuated§ - March 25, 2004 10:32 PM (GMT)
"Not at all." was her casual, if not somewhat bored reply. "Teach said to try something new, so here I am." teach, as in that stuck up proffesor that decided he should be the king of the world, even though he couldn't write a half-decent sentence himself, he seemed to think he could. But he was the teacher, and your not allowed to hit facilty, even though you wished you could.
Finally, a scotch. She took a gulp, savouring its tastes as she downed it slowly. "What about you, if you don't mind me asking." This was, of course, pure curiosity. If he was allowed to know about her life, surely she could have a glimpse into his. Reciprocity, an eye-for-an-eye. Along those lines if you will. He seemed different, but then, everyone was different, she herself was a freak, and uniqueness is a trait to be thankful for, in her opinion.

Well, pushing the door open, glaring at the squeky hinges, She herself could've passed for a hooker. Trading her pants in for a skirt and fishnet stockings,a camisol top and the obligatory trench coat.
Eleven was trying for it though, not that she was particularily easy, but a succubus needs a soul every once and a while, and a couple hundred bucks doesn't hurt either. Oh, and there was the matter of insperation, a look that horny guys get and cheating buisness men get in there eyes makes perfect form for abstract sculptures.
She plopped into a chair, hapazardly next to the spikey-haired girl "Vodka and orange juice..." Click. Click. Click. Man, that's a cool sound, when combat boots bounce aganst each other.
Crazy_Kitty - March 25, 2004 11:37 PM (GMT)
"Just needed to get myself a drink and this was close to my apartment." The truth, or atleast about as much as he was going to say. After all, only a true lunatic would go out on a limb and say something such as, 'Well last night i spent a few hours tearing into my spare room and trying to escape and devour helpless mortals'.
And unfortunately, the polite one wasn't insane.. Yet. There was still time, after all.
Taking another sip of the numbing drink he had ordered, he watched the entrance of 'Eleven', as did most of the horny, drunken males in the room. But to Daniel, there was something.. Wrong. Not dangerous, not ugly, just simply something wrong that sent off warning bells against trying anything with her, even if he wished to. He wasn't the type to sleep around, yet, either. He may of wished to be human but a werewolfs sixth sense was something he found incredibly useful at times when he might of being otherwise distracted.
Ebon bangs falling messily forward as he shook his head, he looked back at the student questioningly, more then ready to evade whatever questions that were thrown at him. He was good at that, rather.
"Teach?"
§infatuated§ - March 26, 2004 01:38 AM (GMT)
"College proffesor." this simple answer was accompanied with a rolling of her eyes. "He likes to think he's a good writer, it's sad really." She then turned her attention to the lady of which had taken the seat next to her, she flashed a smile to the woman. This smile was somewhat forced, but still, it was best to make friends rather than enemies, definately.
"What do you do for a living," she then asked him, grey eyes quirked slightly with a thin half-smile playing gingerly against her lips. Damnit, she did hope that she wouldn't get drunk tonight, or stoned, or both. But if she did, she always seemed to make it back to her apartment, but how is something she doesn't quite understand, whatever, it works.
263070 - March 26, 2004 03:47 AM (GMT)
Sipping her drink, more out of boredom then sorrow-drowning and smiled slightly back at the women. It wasn't a forced smile, just a nonchalant one that seemed preoccupide.
Hmm...yeah, her art teacher wanted a great mosaic of what man was today...That was the assignment.
Well...mortal men tended to be horny a lot, seemed like a valid answer to her.
Now, she was humming 'For Alice' what a pretty song to sing with the eyes of sex-crazed men watching and liquore in the air.
Crazy_Kitty - March 26, 2004 03:59 AM (GMT)
He shifted uncomfortably as the surrondings impercetibly shifted and more attention seemed to be dragged to there corner as the succubus began to hum, poor little werewolf who only wanted to relax and be in a place where people didn't stare at his bright golden eyes or commented on his scruffy clothing. And it had being going quite well to..
"Me? I... Just work around. You know, odd jobs and the like? I assume your a student, right?"
Definately evading answering her questions. You'd think he was a criminal.
§infatuated§ - March 26, 2004 04:49 AM (GMT)
"Yeah." came her response, he was hiding something, she could sense it, what was it? Dear god, she needed to know, privacy, right that whole privacy issue, fine. If he didn't want to spill, that was up to him, but that was his loss. "I work around too, to pay off tuiton and whatever." she shrugged her shoulders, leaning back casually whilst taking another gulp of scotch.
Meanwhile she couldn't help but get sucked into the tune that was being hummed on the other side of her, listening to it thoughtfully, she bobbed her head slightly, letting the rythms play along in her head.
263070 - March 26, 2004 12:46 PM (GMT)
ELeven was casually listening to snippits of the conversation, dimly aware that one of the speakers was a lycanthrope and that he probably knew exactly what she was.
The glass was interesting, catching bits of lights and breaking it up like a prism, a bit of pink right on the werewolve's forhead, a spot of jagged blue light dancing across the girls hand.
'For ALice' was almost over.
Crazy_Kitty - March 26, 2004 10:20 PM (GMT)
He felt himself edge even further away, ducking his head and becoming near instantly inconspicuous as finally a drunkard was attracted by Elevens humming and came up behind her, as dumb as he was drunk no doubt.
"'Ey." Single, drug slurred word as he more or less collapsed in the seat opposite her.
"Tution costs alot these days?" He inquired cooly to the student, attempting to ignore the two nearby as he sipped at the now warm liquid. Another grimace.
263070 - March 26, 2004 10:57 PM (GMT)
She lifted her lip, furrowed her brow and tightened her eyes.
Man, a perfectly beautiful song ruined by this shlum. Worse, she didn't even need a soul at this point she'd gotten a couple over the hours and atleast enough money to buy a months worth of swiss roll cakes.
Besides, even if she did take his soul, it seemed that there would be very little difference in the world, except maybe there'd be more alchohal for the rest. She liked her victims to carry some sort of importance or contribution to modern life.
"Why, aren't you the intoxicated one"
A soul with out a purpose has very little value, and lessens the sex appeal.
That was probably the main reason she didn't feel the need to 'sex him up'.
Sucubii are very, very shallow.
§infatuated§ - March 27, 2004 02:36 AM (GMT)
"Too much, and they barely even teach, but what'cha gonna do?" Boring small talk, better than no talk, but silence was peaceful, sometimes eerie, but peaceful.
She fiddled with a strand of stray hair, though how it had managed to escape the confines of mousse that she had poured on was weird, at least to her it was. To no avail she tried to slick it back as well as she possibly could, she'd live. A sigh was emitted heavily for the lightly hummed tune had disentregated, leaving one with the lovely sounds of cusses and arguements, the absolute best things in the world to listen to.
{{I won't be here for a week, ahem, no internet, anyways, have fun without me.}}
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 03:38 AM (GMT)
(Awwww...)
The drunkard leant over the bar table with a drunken sneer at the succubi, unawares, naturally, that she was not even human.
"What's ya price, hun?" He inquired blithely, and even from his distance of two chairs could the lycanthrope pick out the disgusting stench of nuts, alcohol and drugs that accompanied his words.
Normally he wouldn't of done it, wouldn't of interfered, but he needed not his weak empathic abilitys to know that she was clearly not interested. Who would be, after all?
"Leave her alone. "
263070 - March 27, 2004 03:52 AM (GMT)
She leaned back having caught a wiff of the drunk.
""More than.."
What, someone that was aware of what she was actually helping?
She looked over at the werewolf, leaning further away from the man and throwing her drink in his face. Neccisary? not really, but a hell of a lotta fun.
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 05:42 AM (GMT)
Oh but the thing was, he wasn't aware. He knew she was... Different... But he had no idea what a succubus was, let alone that it existed.
The man snarrled in anger, shooting up from his seat as the stinging alcohol was flung into his face, and reached back a hand to slam a fist into her face.
Bam.
The mans eyes rolled back into his head, sinking bonelessly into the ground as the lycanthrope slammed his elbow into the drunken idiots neck, instantly plunging him into unconciousness. Or a coma.
"Oh dear. I really didn't mean to hit him that hard..."
263070 - March 27, 2004 05:53 AM (GMT)
She rolled her eyes, not ignorantly, but that shy people still existed.
"Would've been awsome if ya' hit him harder.." She stood up and looked down at the Drunk.
"Thanks anyway..." She didn't add that she might have been able to handle it herself, (had she not thrown the drink in his face)
Pat. Pat. "Good Doggy."
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 06:00 AM (GMT)
Recoiled as she patted him, snarrling up at him before turning his attention back to his drink. Dazed enough not to notice that she called him 'Doggy'.
"Don't pet me."
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:07 AM (GMT)
Patting not petting.
"You think he's out...?"
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 06:09 AM (GMT)
"I hope so." A grimace, looking down at him. "He's alot bigger then me otherwise."
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:17 AM (GMT)
"I could sleep with him if i really had too..." It was her turn to grimace.
"as a last resort..."
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 06:21 AM (GMT)
O.o
He gave her a strange look, taking another gulp of the disgusting drink.
"What are you? Your not human, are you?"
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:23 AM (GMT)
Grin. Her eyebrows rose
"I thought you knew? Succubus...cute lil' sex demons who steal peoples souls during intercourse..."
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 06:29 AM (GMT)
He slowly turned his golden orbs to the mug, blinking for a few moments.
"I didn't think i had that much drink... Pardon me?"
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:33 AM (GMT)
She tilted her head
"S-U-C-C-U-B-U-S"
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 06:36 AM (GMT)
Blink. Slowly he hit his head against the bar.
"Thisisnothappeningthisisjustadrunkenillusionandsheisnotademon.."
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:41 AM (GMT)
She touched his shoulder lightly, just to get him to stop hitting his head against teh wall
"Not a 'bad' demon...just doing my..erm...job.."
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 06:44 AM (GMT)
"Theres other demons? Oh dear lord..."
Poor little Unny werewolf.
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:47 AM (GMT)
damn.
"No...well, er, fuck..."
She glanced around, tuning in from drunken conversation to drunken conversation until finally looking back at him.
"You knew what i was vaugly, right? At least that i wasn't entirly humanoid?"
Crazy_Kitty - March 27, 2004 07:03 AM (GMT)
"But... But..." A sigh, resting his forehead on the bar. "I need another drink."
263070 - March 27, 2004 06:24 PM (GMT)
She raised her hand to the bar tender, ordering a scotch neat.
"Here...why don't you just sit down..."
Crazy_Kitty - March 28, 2004 10:10 AM (GMT)
The large man stirred apon the floor, and a rather frightened squeak escaped the well-mannnered lycanthrope as he leapt off the rather unstable stool.
"I do hate to look like a coward or the like, miss, but, well, i value my head and he's a lot bigger then me" A nervous smile, backing away. "I'm Daniel, it was nice meeting yo-"
"Errgh.."
"Bye!"
Boy, could he run fast when he put his mind to it, straight out the door of the seedy bar. Runrunrun.
