Title: 2005 majors and minors
Description: I can't decide, any advice?

First of all, congratulations on being selected! It's loads of fun.

My advice to you is to remember that MSA isn't school. No homework, no tests, none of that stuff that makes subjects boring.

You'll have your major for 4 hours a day, so it's best to pick something you're interested in. (I took Game Theory, which I just adored.) For your minor, however, maybe pick something that you wouldn't normally enjoy in school, because MSA will give you a new outlook on it! I took Short Story and Prose, which isn't my strong point academically, and absolutely had a blast.

I would suggest that you stay away from the classes about other countries; I tended to hear that they could be rather dry.

I thought majors were 3 hours, but maybe I was having so much fun an extra hour flew by without me ever noticing.

They were 3 if I remember correctly. Half of the scholars start at 8, and half at 8:30, and they let out at 11 and 11:30 respectively.
