Title: That which we obtain to cheap we value to lightly

I'm stuck guys! I have to write an English comp about the things that we waste, such as time, free cars, or food and then why we regret it. The kicker is that I that I have to have three specific things- something I wasted, something a friend wasted, and then something a relative wasted. I've got the something I wasted and I think I've got the the something my relative wasted but I'm stuck on a friend. The only thing I can think of is Courtney's (not Greene) car that she wrecked but I can't say for sure that she regrets because I know at the time she wasn't happy with her life and maybe she meant to die that night. Any ideas? I'd be thankful for any help I can get!

Does it have to be material?
I took my three weeks at MU for granted for awhile, it wasn't until near the end that I realized how valuable that chance really was :(

Of course, MSA was not too easy to get in to, but was free (for me) so I guess it counts.
