The Incredibles. Best thing ever. Discuss.

I wholeheartedly agree. I came back from that and immediately blogged one sentence about how great it was.

I just got back from seeing "The Incredibles," and concur with the previous posts. It is, in fact, incredible.
Jack Jack is awesome. (6)

I just saw it again last night—Jay and I went to see it in Columbia, 'cause he hadn't seen it yet. It still rocks.

I think the thing that impressed me most about it was that you just couldn't help but feel good after walking out of the theatre. It was just too much fun for watching a bunch of expensively-rendered polygons transferred to celluloid to be possible.
My family rented Shrek 2 over Thanksgiving break, and while I'm not the first one to compare the two, I think it pales in comparison to The Incredibles. I was just unimpressed with the fact that it didn't have the cohesive style and personality that the Incredibles did, and that it failed to really say anything important or interesting on top of that.
As a result, I think I'm more interested in checking out Brad Bird's other work, like the Iron Giant.

Yes, The Incredibles was awesome. I thought the beginning was slow and not very funny, but the whole thing just escalated throughout the movie which, imo, is a good thing anyway. The highway/van seen is hilarious!!

Yeah, ditto on the beginning, but once it got good ... it was great.
