Hmm...forum's running kinda low...that means it's time for another pointless topic!

Question:
What is your favorite old school computer game?

I'm going to say King's Quest 4: The Perils of Rosella. I've played all of the KQ's through number 6, but 4 is most assuridly the best. :D

hmmmmm..
Big tie between Sim City 2000 and Castles II
I've been looking for a copy of Castles II for a while now :/

Monkey Island! Probably II, but III was good too. Yay for Guybrush!

Does Diablo II count as old school yet? If not...um.........

Not even. It's only a few years old :P

haha...KQ4 was released in 1988...still my favorite computer game. I do remember playing another game with giant mutated ants and plane hijackings as well. I think it was called..."Ants". :P

I was/ am a fan of Sega's Sonic Team's games, but only a couple are probably "old school", like the original Sonic the Hedgehog. They also made games like NiGHTS into Dreams and Burning Rangers on the Sega Saturn, Chu Chu Rocket, Samba de Amigo, and Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast... I'm going to get a GameCube later this year for the new Sonic game and that "Billy Hatcher" game.
As for the really old games, you can't go wrong with Tetris clones (but I suck at the original Tetris... it's beyond me) or other old puzzle games. I'm glad to see the Snake game on cell phones; I always ruled at that game.

Captain Comic, hands down. and, of course, Captain Comic II.

Do you still have your Saturn Bo? If so, get your hands on Dragon Force and Shining Force III

@Hannah: I had CC1! Never beat it though :$. Can you zip 'em and e-mail to me? I can post for download :)

Seth - Naturally... I don't have either of those games, though. Slackers in Columbia/ Jefferson City might. I'm always on the lookout for Panzer Dragoon Saga, though. Supposedly one of the best video games ever, and it only got a very limited release. I saw it once for $80 and once for $120, but I didn't have that kind of cash on me either time.

Patrick- Sim City 2000, but not the original Sim City? Well, at least you got Shining Force right, they all rocked!

I personally love the SNES classic Chrono Trigger.

I have crono trigger...! *Beams*
Yea, I wasn't a big fan of the original sim city. that might be because I played 2k before the original. After free zoning and arcos and all that you can't go back.
