Paul Foxfire - October 23, 2003 12:11 AM (GMT)
Anyone else notice that no one ever comes to this site? Not even Nelson, the founder? I'd have more luck starting a conversation on Digiquest!
Oh, and check out this site:

Something rises from the black depths of a pool of 8-grade manga ink. It is a teddy bear, branded on it's chest by a star of david. Covered in balck gunk, it raises it's left paw, and EXPLODES! From the burning wreckage emerges one man... carrying a torch. That man is I.
Yep... I guess I'm back now! ^_^
Paul Foxfire - October 28, 2003 02:01 AM (GMT)
Oh...dang...
I wanted a teddy bear...
*consoles self with Ryo-oh-ki plushie*
naruto - October 28, 2003 10:49 PM (GMT)

Paul Foxfire - October 29, 2003 03:06 AM (GMT)

Paul Foxfire - October 31, 2003 08:49 PM (GMT)
Yay! FF10-2!
You know, it occurs to me that this is techniquely FF12, and also 10-2 is like 12. Bizzare...
RELEASE THE CABBIT!
*beats Nelson with a mallet*
naruto - November 2, 2003 08:20 PM (GMT)
no, it's like totally NOT ff 12, because an FF12 is being made. Think of it as ff10-2 ff10 chapter, 2.
Dante - November 3, 2003 03:38 AM (GMT)
Nelson, you stupid bastard. You have no right to say anything. But paul, ff12 will be good in all different way from ffx-2
Paul Foxfire - November 3, 2003 12:55 PM (GMT)
I've actually heard nothing about FF12. What's it gonna be like? Does anyone know?
Oh, and I was just pointing out the irony.
naruto - November 3, 2003 05:53 PM (GMT)
Nope. Square's only released the case and (I think) some concept art.... or towns. It actually looks good tho! And troy/peoples. Stop mentioning FF10/10-2 and I won't bash it. It's as easy as that.
LISTEN TO MY STORY!
Dante - November 3, 2003 11:50 PM (GMT)
I will stop mentioning FFX-2 here when you stop mentioning heat guy j everywhere
naruto - November 4, 2003 12:10 AM (GMT)
I've stopped on here. ^_^ And I didn't buy it, nor to I sit around going OMG OMG OMG NEXT HEATGUY TOTALLY AWSOME IT ROXORS SO MUCH ALL NAYSAYERS DIE JERKFACE I CAN"T WAIT OMG OMG OMG DICE IS DA COOLEST AND YOU ARE WRONG OMG OMG OMG
like some people do with.... something else.
Paul Foxfire - November 4, 2003 01:02 PM (GMT)
I'll stop talking about it, but just because it is so far away. I STILL think you have no right to make fun of a game that you have played less then .358 percent of. Yes, I calculated it. It takes about 70 hours to finish the game semi-completely.
Mr.Mooky - November 5, 2003 02:57 PM (GMT)
they have released the case that is all. There is a press release the 19th and Squenizx will release all news regarding the game (chracters, plot, towns, combat, etc.)
naruto - November 6, 2003 02:47 AM (GMT)
ja, aber was um den juden? 50,00 Euro bitte, für euren schlechten geschmack.
naruto - November 6, 2003 02:52 AM (GMT)
ya know paul, you hate Family Circus more than I hate FFX, and you have read BARELY even .0111% of the strips out there, and yet you judge those by the little amout therof you have experienced- I rest my case.
Paul Foxfire - November 6, 2003 03:54 AM (GMT)
Well, first of all, I doubt that you counted how many Family Circus' I have read in my life, nor how many exist. But I do know one thing for sure. I hate the Euro. I think it's a stupid idea that reduces cultural significance, and if they ever come up with a "Worldo", I will burn 20 dollars. Then give it a funeral at sea. The way Vikings used to do.
Mmm...smelt...
naruto - November 11, 2003 12:17 AM (GMT)
The Euro is actually a GREAT thing for Europe. Much like the state quarters for the us, each country has their own specific breed of Euro… but it’s nice since it keeps the exchange rate solid, and you don’t have to go changing money all the time. It makes it easier for Europeans to travel amongst themselves, therefore it actually helps in cultural promotion, and let’s each country see others with less hassle.
TAKE MY FIERCE NAZI-VIKING COUNTERPOINT! I THRUST IT UPON YOU LIKE UKLOCKE’S SPEAR INTO A KOBOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mu ah ha ha ha ha.

Mr.Mooky - November 12, 2003 06:39 PM (GMT)
Paul Foxfire - November 12, 2003 10:22 PM (GMT)
Simpler travel is no excuse. I still feel that if you want to experiance other cultures, creating international money is not the way to go. By making it easier to visit other cultures, you reduce their significance. The tradeoff doesn't seem worth it to me. And frankly, an Illinois quarter is just another quarter. I find no significance to it at all. Granted that the process helps unify the world, but the cultural loss is annoying. They should have just had one giant country and one giant culture. And the likelyhood of all of Europe uniting under one government is almost impossible at best.
naruto - November 13, 2003 06:45 PM (GMT)
It's called the tower of babel experience. Anyway, I think my CULTURED, EXPERIENCED knowledge of how the Euro actually affects europe wins......... since I've been there since the euro, and find no cultural changes whatsoever, except that the Europeans themselves find it better, and more convenient.
Anyway, let it be known that I am sick today, and will probably be so tomorrow as well.
Mr.Mooky - November 14, 2003 02:42 AM (GMT)
Paul Foxfire - November 14, 2003 01:10 PM (GMT)
Feh, I can't argue against experiance. But I still don't like it, and still dislike it's concept. I can't argue actual efficiancy, only theoretical.

There's actually an Icelandic musician, group of musicians rather, other then Bjork. They're called Sigur Ros and they're sort of slow New Age-ish rock. It's nothing like Yanni or any other New Age stuff... it's something you really need to hear for yourself. The groups pretty good, I suggest downloading Myrkur or Staralfur.
