Title: Role-Playing Updates
Description: What games are running, other info
Paul Foxfire - August 4, 2003 08:11 AM (GMT)
Time for many RPG questions:
My main reason for this: Is Cthulhu-like still running? I just want to know.
That, and the fact that I have three games I could run. Werewolf, D&D, or Mutant RPG. Which is prefered by the masses?
Another question: Is anyone else even willing to play? I know that Gencon took a lot, but after a week, have we recovered? I don't want to go pestering people if they don't wanna play...
Next; is Nexus a possibility for being run soon?
Nelson, will you ever run a game again?
If Werewolf is brought up again, should we keep open the online role-playing, if reserved for one on one role-playing?
I have Demon: The Fallen. Having read that, I not only know every single World of Darkness game more or less like the back of my hand, but have formulated my own belief on how the games intermix. Does anyone care? Better question; Why did I care?
If I am the Walrus(Coo Coo Ca-Choo), then who would write a Rock Opera about a lonely German named Franz Kafka who turns into a bug?

1. Don't know... doesn't look like it...
2. Out of those three rpg's, I'd chose Mutant.
3. Yes, I am willing to play.
4. I have recovered from GenCon.
5. As long as I can get at least four of the five players, preferably Nelson, Paul, and Tony, then I'll be able to GM my three adventures at a moment's notice. Although, technically, I don't need Tony since I will be doing some plot required character controlling of Jeff Tarkin for the last adventure.
6. ...no...
7. ...no...
8. ...no...
9. So you may be "La Maestro de la WoD"
10. If I knew enough about music theory, then I would write it. You may be the bug, Paul, Jacob Murray shall play Kafka in his human form. Although if it was Kefka I would have Nelson play the part (no bug).

You know, you answered 8 questions ten times.

A question consists of a question mark. There are ten question marks, therefore there are ten questions:
1. Is Cthulhu-like still running?
2. Which is prefered by the masses?
3. Is anyone else even willing to play?
4. I know that Gencon took a lot, but after a week, have we recovered?
5. Next; is Nexus a possibility for being run soon?
6. Nelson, will you ever run a game again?
7. If Werewolf is brought up again, should we keep open the online role-playing, if reserved for one on one role-playing?
8. Does anyone care?
9. Why did I care?
10. If I am the Walrus(Coo Coo Ca-Choo), then who would write a Rock Opera about a lonely German named Franz Kafka who turns into a bug?

This reminds me, how was GenCon?
I would be willing to play any game if i get a character and if it is even possible for me to join.
I know people who play domon and i would be very interested in seeing the book, Paul.
Oh yes, and how are your feelings on human sacrifice?

GenCon was excellent. I pestered the good people of Impossible Dream 4 times in their excellent ADGNEPSEF555 games(Which I am still willing to run), played a messed up fairytale game(Scary Tales) as Little Red Riding Hood, beat up more people then I should have been able to in most normal scenarios(Including a bat scribe from Ironclaw, Little Red, a super-speed hero in Mutants and Masterminds, and a magical girl with a beating stick). My only complaints are A: I didn't get to play all the game types I wanted, and B: the management sucked.
Sure. Why not. Feel free to throw mutant power ideas my way.
Domon, or Demon? See, Demon: The Fallen, just came out this year. Still, the book IS cool. But I said I'd let Troy read it first.
It depends. Sometimes it really sucks, like when the sacrifice is whiny, annoying, then chickens out on you. Sometimes, though, all the blood and gore REALLY pleases the gods, so they throw great big godly cannibal feasts where the host is randomly turned into a wolf for eating his son. Can't beat a party like that.
