HI GROUP,AS SOMEONE WHO BELIEVES THEY REALLY ARE OUT THERE I THINK SETI IS A WAY OF HELPING PROVE THIS.BUT IT IS ONLY ONE WAY,WHAT IF THE SIGNALS WE ARE SENDING OUT ARE ON THE WRONG WAVE LENGTH.I THINK GOVERNMENTS HAVE TO GET TOGETHER AND THINK OF OTHER WAYS TO PROVE THAT WE ARE NOT ALONE.THIS SHOULD START WITH THE DENIAL OF UFO ACTIVITY OVER OUR AIRSPACE.

Harry a world changing event our goverment would let us know i think not just think bush/blair there is life out there and we thought we should let you all know about it i right thats a catch 22 that secret is kept anyway we dont need our goverment to tell us there is life outhere we know there is.
There are many life forms outhere its just picking the good from the bad and now they know were we live we get them all.

Hmm yes, I have often thought this about SETI! Still, I am not sure what better way there might be to try and make contact, particularly when we have no idea about what sort of message aliens might be likely to understand. Or if humankind would be ready for it if we did! :P

Hi there is only one way i know and think of a message is by the Binery Code
any INTELIGENT alien race would understand this but would need the right Technology to reach earth and then would and i think would bypass any wave lenth we have its not just a case of looking back in time through deep space for a signal that can be millions of years old that race may be dead or just may be flying around our air space impumity

Whilst I was on the Website for said NASA probe that took the disks with the names to Mars to print out my certificate confirming that my name was on Mars I also found yours and for your information there is only 1 Harry Sommerville out of the 1000s if not 1,000,000s of names that got sent there.
So you should be honoured mate.
