Did we both see a UFO?

Did anyone else see the object with the intense spinning light in the sky on the morning of Wednesday and Thursday, January 30 and 31, at about 7.30?

I live in St Mary's Dundee with my partner and on the Wednesday morning my partner was opening the blinds when a bright flashing light caught her eye.

Looking in the direction of Camperdown golf club she could see a dark object high in the sky. The sky was very clear and visibility was excellent.

My partner thought the object seemed to be spinning and the small intense light was not flashing while going around and around.

We see a lot of aircraft taking off and landing and helicopters hovering so we know this was very different.

The object was stationary for about 40 minutes before slowly moving to the right where it stopped for a short time before moving vertically at speed and disappearing.

I was asleep at the time, but I told her if she saw it again to waken me.

The next morning, at about the same time, she woke me saying the object was back.

I watched the object and as I served in the military for 10 years, can say this was like no aircraft I had seen before.

It wasn't the off-shore lighthouse reflecting off the clouds as the light was brighter and had a different flashing pattern, nor was it a star or Venus.

I was sure this was a UFO. - S.G.
