Title: Texas Ufo Photo
UFOHARRY - July 11, 2007 03:50 PM (GMT)
Texas, 2007This photograph of an unknown object in the sky was taken over the state of Texas in May, 2007. The picture was sent through MUFON's open source submission line. The object is very clearly not any known conventional flying object. It shows an object of a disc or circular shape, metallic, and reflecting light. copyright-www.mufon.com

It COULD possibly be a helium balloon...?

Damn, why does no-one ever show these things at actual size, but they have to zoom in so we lose any context?

I think, the top of the red arrow - that little silver dot, is actual size.
I think, don't quote me on it!

I think you are right.
I really hate to suggest this as it is such a cliche but I remember reading in UFO magazine an article describing Identified Flying Objects and I was struck of the description of a Weather Balloon as often displaying an orange glow.
http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/images/slide7.jpgI'd say it is a possibility?

I'd agree, a certain possibility. A balloon of some description maybe at least.
The problem is, there's absoloutely not way to get a sense of perspective with this object. It could be tiny or it could be massive. Could be very close, or it could be miles and miles away.

Yeah, you're right. Still kind of hard to make out, though. I wouldn't like to guess what it is actually showing.
