Interesting read. I suppose if they did want to hide themselves, a cloud would be a good disguise.
The first story though - I've seen two clouds both moving in opposite directions, so it IS possible - wind currents move all the time. Also, I believe when two thunderclouds meet, the electricity being passes is what causes lightning. So, that one could have a rational explanation.
The others seem odd though, especially the "science teacher" one.
Just type in "ufo cloud" or "lenticular cloud" into google image, you'll see some absolutely amazing pics,Quite spectacular.! :D

Wow, that must look really weird, I don't think I have seen that before, another excuse to keep my eyes on the skies!
Thelma-Some of those pictures are really fantastic. Amazingly, I see lenticular clouds quite regularly between Glasgow and Edinburgh, not as spectacular as that but definitely saucer shaped.
