I always feel slightly suspicious of these type of sites and wonder whether they are just harvesting email addresses for spamming purposes. I don't want to give them my home address either. Could just be my horrible suspicious mind.. Did you find youself with more spam after signing the petition?

No, and I signed a load of them. It's the OFFICIAL 10 Donwing St. site, so it SHOULD, in theory, be a bit more reliable than just some random guy's blog site.
