Whitley Strieber's current journal entry says that we have turned a corner and are ready for contact. A Brazillian UFO expert claims that there will be an undeniable contact event between now and April 2007 that will involve UFOs appearing over many world capitals. Nick Pope resigns as the British Ministry of Defense's UFO expert saying that they ARE intelligently guided and more study is urgently needed.
And now orange balls of light appear off the south coast of England, startling thousands of onlookers and leaving a mystery in their wake.
The orange lights moved slowly in an easterly direction, and were much brighter than lights seen recently over Essex and Liverpool, which were claimed to be hoaxes generated with lit balloons.
Meanwhile, a green fireball was seen by thousands south of Queensland in Australia on November 28. This fireball has been identified as a meteor, but the trail it left behind remained visible for at least 15 minutes.
The effect reported, with the long-persisting tail, is strikingly similar to the 'green fireball phenomenon' that was reported primarily over New Mexico between 1946 and 1949. The mystery of those fireballs was never resolved.
