Yes, Tony Mott has been re-appointed as editor of Edge magazine. Well well. Well, well, well. How very interesting. I await the next installment of Biffovision with some anticipation.
I hope he and his team can save the mag from impending doom.

What, really?
So who's going to be running Central?

I can't imagine ("HERTZ VAN RENTAL" - Ed) was a very fulfilling job, to be honest. I mean, yawn-a-rama.

The tea boys.
They've been doing a pretty good job of it the last 3 months anyway.

By "pretty good" do you mean "nobody reads it anymore, probably"?
Last time I looked at it, Tony Mott published an article in which he appeared to be advocating developers ceasing to make minority interest games in favour of ones which will be more widely popular and thus make more money. Which is obviously nice from a commercial interests point of view, but utterly awful for anybody who likes free choice.
(It was about a particular genre of minority sport. I forget which.)

"He" wrote for Camecentral this weekend. But about racism! What was that about? Is he, like, a politician, or something, now? The last page was thrown in as an afterthought, to link it to gaming, I think.
In a word: Husss.
Did "He" and The Reverend finally make peace, then, or what? I'd ask The Rev, himself, but I fear for my safety. He might get angry, and put a link on his website directing tramps to my house, so they can wee through my letter-box, or something.

I actually thought that article on racism in gaming made a very good point. Why are some activities that in normal life are unacceptible okay in gaming (and other media), while others deemed "too far"?

Oo, sounds interesting; can you give we who haven't read the article the long and short of it?

Tony Mott just swore a bit, and drew a crude picture of what appeared to be some Klu Klux Klan members dancing around a Christmas tree.
I think that he might have fallen asleep on the Teletext keyboard for a while, as well, as there were just loads of random alphanumerical characters for about two-and-a-half pages.

Insightful,
Delightful,
Mott.
