Title: Digiworld Offline
Brig Bother - November 18, 2003 09:34 PM (GMT)
Well that's spanking.
I guess then, sniff, this is the end. *bursts out crying*
Oh hang on, I've just seen an advert for some washing powder with the tremendous Adam and Joe in it, and I can't recall what product was actually being advertised. Hurrah! Not such a bad day after all.

It's a GOOD thing Adam and Joe are advertising SURF?
Then this surely is the worst day ever!

Does this mean that everyone is going away? Like my cat Rex did?
But who'll cuss and gesticulate agressively towards the Digi crew, while they're busy trying to find jobs?
Hmmnnn.

For the sake of completeness, I've just compiled all 1,867 pages into one, stripped the HTML and discounted the page titles and fastext labels, then averaged out the (repeated) banners, to give a fair word count for the whole mag. The numbers are
74,325 words* / 8 issues
= 9,921 words per ish, average
and
74,325 words / 1,867 pages
= 39.81 words per page, average
This means that each page of Digiworld is functionally equivalent to a letter from Stuart N Hardy. Excellent!
JN.
*Incomprehensible-analyses fans! Nisus reports that Digiworld Offline has a "Flesch Reading Ease" score of 85, and a "Reading Grade Level" mark of 10. No one knows what these mean, except that Digiworld is great.

It's over now, Nash. Let it go. Maybe you should go and read a book or throw a frisbee at a dog or something.
Still, well done on being determined enough to finish it all. Speaking of which, I wonder what would happen if someone read the whole lot in one sitting?

How can we anaanananalyse that if you don't tell us what the mark was, hmm?

Why does it not work. My zip folder isn't corrupt this time, but all the links lead to............ nowhere.
Hmmmmm.
I bet Quincy could get to the bottom of it.

Thank you Digiworld. The offline content is most excellent.

It works fine. You are broken.
