Title: Biffo and Digiworld
Description: Eh?

'Tis very sad that Digiworld is dead. Perhaps naively, I had hopes that it might last for 10 years, as ("UNASSOCIATED TRADEMARKED PROPERTY" - Ed) did. I certainly thought it would last for a few months at least.

I was just wondering how much involvement did Mr Biffo have with Digiworld? He is (still) listed as the first person in the 'About' page, and he wrote a couple of reviews and a 'Player 1' on the first weekend (as far as I can be bothered to tell). Did he disappear after that? Was it always intended he was going to leave it to the Rev et al, or was it an acrimonious split?

I worried a little when I read Biffo's column in Edge complaining about bitter old game's journalists, and that there should be new blood, and wondered if that was a side reference to the Rev. (Personally, I found Rev Stu's articles rather too negative. I'm sure he's right that the games industry hates us, but it was tiring hearing it several times per week!)

Who wrote Bingo and Bongo? That was one of my favourite Digiworld bits and seemed very much in the Biffo-style.

Thanks for listening.

Meh, so when Stu wasn't quite such a 'classic' (that's videogame marketing speak, see?) games journalist, it was okay to be bitter?

That's age discrimination that is.

It reminds me of last week when I watched a DivX of the final episode of Games Master with showed a clip of 'Dave Perry', self confessed as Britains best gamer, having no idea how to play Mario 64, breaking down into a sulk claiming "I'm not a games journalist, I'm a marketing executive".

The Rev. and Dominque Diamon should get together down a pub one night and concoct some form of liquid entertainment which could be used to fill water baloons and paint us a wacky new entertainment media.

I wrote all the Bingo and Bongo stuff except for one piece (the Laser Squad one), which Mr Popular did. You can tell because THAT WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH MISTAKES IN IT.

Mr Biffo wrote nothing after his review in Ish 2.
