Well, it's not as if Nintendo gives two shits about online gaming anyway. And bravo, I say. This AOL move is probably just to make it easier for third parties and to appease the people who insist that 'online gaming is the future!'.

augh cant use AOL where I live :( I have to be in the worst place in the world (Hull) where we dont have BT thus we are forced to get karoo internet which comes with none of the perks that come with other services and really sucks >_<

we get karoo... :( ... We used to have AOL but they booted us cause kingston communication (our communications company) made it hard and expensive for them!

I'd be willing to bet that AOL would be the only company capable of writing net code guaranteed to crash your Gamecube within about 3.186 seconds of connecting.

Dude, are you aware that Hull (so I'm told) has the finest telecommunications network in the country? And don't you get to play on experimental interactive TV all day?

We get that.... but it isnt amazing... Our isp sucks... alot of downtime, they messed up our connection etc. We got ADSL ages after the other big cities etc etc.
