Digital_Brothel - January 29, 2005 04:08 PM (GMT)
Hey All,
There's a new MP3 up on the DBR & Vtg sites. It's a demo version of a new track, "
Seed Of Art". We're encouraging everyone to download it and let us know what you think here.
Hope you all enjoy it!

Like it a lot... after a few listens love it!
I was a bit dubious about ordering the album as everything spliced together on the sampler made my head hurt, but the demo has made my mind up for me. Gonna order it in a couple of days when I have enough money in the bank.

^ :)
The demo has a different sound to most tracks on the 'sbpla' album... I think it's got more weight to it. Now i'm really looking forward to the next offering! In fact, it doesn't even sound like a demo??! its a bit too good for that! haha..
I like the fact that theres more vocals in it, really great voice, really honest sounding.... I had no idea where the track was gonna go at the begining with just the vocals and that slight bleepy electronica.. (the 'urr-urr-urr' vocal, I wasn't sure if i liked it at first?).. then... blam!!! The beat comes in and its Layers and layers of sound! The vocals sound fantastic underneath too, and rather interesting lyrics. I'm not gonna try and guess what its about though..hehehe??
Top stuff!! :music:

Ok.
I've gotten a few ???'s as to the lyrics.
i'm sure they've confused you.
maybe i'm ruining a bit of the mystique surrounding the track.
but. whatever.maybe it will help you understand it and enjoy it more.
the lyrics thought by a woman..."dead man lying in my bed...."
are the mind of someone who deeply loved me,.. it's about how she felt
in the end of the relationship. its an extension of 'sbpla.' more like a eulogy
really.
the chorus is how i feel about the end of the era.
there's a few other interesting things going on... i'll let you figure them out
on your own.
all the best,
larry
