Title: Friendships Gone
Description: the big break

Okay I have many interesting rumors for books 6 & 7, but maybe none as great as this and I spent 2 hours last night discussing it with others so here it is. Here is what some are estimating will happen by the end of the seventh book. Ron turns to voldemort for power and glory and will basically hand deliver harry to voldemort. Draco will become a death eater like his father. But at the critical moment draco no longer wants to be like his father and saves harry losing his own life. Harry must then confront ron (no one seems to be clear on this outcome) Dumbledore will be killed in the fight and Harry in the end will take out voldemort but with many losses. (I tend to think if we all think like this then J.K.R. is not. She always adds so many twists) I myself wouldn't be surprised if Harry doesn't defeat voldemort, or at least they will both die in the battle or something. But who knows. Interesting theory though. There is a possibility that will happen. I think that Harry will say Dracos life so he is then in det. But i think that Draco will turn good and he will help Harry instead of Ron helping (that is when Ron gets jelous, again, of Harry and turns evil). It's only a thought. :kitty:

I don't know about Ron. He seems too loyal to Harry, but everything else seems very possible.
(Although, we know of Dumbledore's fate).
Yeah...I kind of can't see Ron being evilish, but then again you never know. Like me, I never would have guessed that Ginny and Harry would have gotten together.

I think we see flashes of Ron's potential to succumb to voldemorts side through the first six books and i think in some way it will happens but not to the extent that he delivers harry to voldemort.

I think that's a very interesting theory. One that I have read quite a few times in various different fanfictions with obvious little differences. For some reason I love the idea of Draco helping Harry to defeat Voldemort but I think that him being 'good' is too black and white. He's a very complex character, I think anyway, with very complex issues and it's impossible to place him under one heading.
The only problem I have with the theory is that Ron betrays Harry. Their friendship runs too deep and Ron is much too loyal. I don't think we will see this in the books simply because the trio are part of the essence of the story. Their loyalty and friendship is one of the reasons the books are so great and if you take that away, you loose something very important.
