I just finished reading this book and I think it is great. It has lots of background information and myth information. Also it tells more about latin originated words and such. For anyone who is a seeker of truth behind Harry potter and his magical world this is a great book and will make you understand and appreciate the books more in my personal opinion. Hanna

Glad to know I'm not the only person who read it! I also have Exploring Harry Potter and it's like a teachers' sourcebook. It's not too bad. It's a little divided up but it discusses many of the theories behind the book. All and all not a bad read.

I have that book as well. I've read it countless times, just because it's that interesting! There's a Lord of the Rings one like it, which I am going to buy next time I go shopping.

I think I saw that! I have now watched LOTR: RotK twice already. Lots of hours spent at the theater, lol! Glad to know you liked it. It really touched on a lot of subjects. The science of Harry Potter is a really good book too!

Have you tried Amazon.com or Ebay? They usually have a large assortment of.... well everything. I am sure you will find it. I know I've seen it at Waldenbooks. Have you tried there?

I would try Amazon, but my mom is against shopping online. Don't know why. And I've never heard of Waldenbooks. We have bookstores in my area, I just have to get to them sometime.
