Okay there has been quite a bit of spam going on here. If you are going to say back up you need supporting sentences, and please write correctly if you haven't been. If this keeps up I'm going to have to lower some post count, and delete this thread, so please don't just say I want to be a cat, or I want to be everything good, but nothing bad. You need something to back your reasons up.

Well I know what animals I'd like to be. A wolf or a phoenix, although a black panther has that sort of 'preditor of the night' appeal to it. Felines, hunters and animals that can fly have their own romance that appeals to my imagination and darker side. From everything I have read though, it sounds like what you turn into is not a choice. In several interviews JKR has made it sound as if it depends on your personality, just like your Patronus does. Based on that I'd probably turn into something very motherly and utterly unromantic, like a hen. I'm always taking care of friends and family. Then again, female lions and wolves take care of the pack and are the hunters (Alpha female wolves hunt with the alpha male. They also mate of life, which fits in with my loyalty streak). Female falcons too, are usually used as hunting birds, they are fiercer and larger, but also take care of the chicks. Bit of danger thrown in with the mother-hen, it could work.

What would you guys like to be, and what do you think you would turn into based on your personality?

If I were an Animagus, I would probably be a stag. One of my reasons is because James is a stag, and I think it would be nice to see what a stag's life is like. Based on personality, I would probably get a raven for intelligence.

I would be some sort of bird so I could fly. A hawk, most likely, because they're big enough to be tough and they're a protected species, so I wouldn't have to worry about getting shot by a hunter. :)

If I were a animagus I would be a eagle or fox.

If I were an Animagus I think it would have to be a dog. A Labrador Retriever to be more exact. They are just so loyal, kind and good hearted. I think that fits me to a tee. Plus they will go to the mat for their (best) friend. So a Lab or maybe an Eagle simply because I am an Eagle Scout and I am proud of that and love eagles for that.

I think when your talking about a animagus, its your personality that matches the animal not what it looks like.

Personally i think i would be a lion, maybe a lioness because im female but a lion because they are a leader, wild, independant and free. though besdies that i would think i would be a cat or I would LIKE to be a bird...but yes i see myself a a creature that domains, that rules and is dependant and different....maybe even a stag myself...but ah well.

Hmm.. I think I would be a dolphin. Besides the fact that I love them and think that they are beautiful I would love to swim in the water all day, I love the ocean. When I was on vacation I swam with the dolphins I really loved them. I guess the only thing I would have to fear is sharks... but I think I could manage that :)

I have a cat myself they seems so relaxed! and then their ultimate vision (in light and dark) and hearing ability's.. awesome!! A cat is the way to be :P

I would be either An American Kestrel (type of Falcon), a timber wolf, or a white tiger. Mostly because those are my favorite types of animals, but also because they are just too cool. If you don't know what a Kestrel is, look it up on either google search or yahoo search. I'm too lazy to post a picture here.
Also, These three animals aren't normally agressive unless provoked, which is basically like me.

I dunno what I'd be. I'm really loud and friendly though..maybe some sort of small over-enthusiastic dog?

I would really like to be a cat though. They are such intelligent animals and I love the way they always look so sophisticated.

i wrote a fanfiction where the two characters representing my personality pieces both shifted into black dragons with crystaline eyes...somehow i think i would end up the dragon- not an evil, wicked one, but a guardian creature with a quick wit and mischievious mind... you know, the ministry of magic pisses me off, i *WHAM* down just outside of hogsmede when fudge is there and just stick my head over where he's standing... or just land on lucius malfoy- there's a way to get rid of the git!

i dont know, ive just always had an affinity for a large, rather commanding creature that can fry things... i'm rather fond of fire (its a theatre person thing, i think....).

Personality wise, I would probably end up something stubborn. I don't know what that would be, but people always tell me that I'm stubborn. And obsessive-compulsive, but I don't know of any animals with OCD...
