Do I like Draco?
Absolutely.
But you can't really like Draco in the normal spectrum of things. You have to like him for what he is, a nasty, coniving, bitter young man. He's just so darn honest and straight forward about it. When he hates you, you know it. When he's using you, you know it, and when he's done with you, you'll know it. He's a Slytherin through and through, and even though you wouldn't turn your back on him, you've got to respect him for that.
You can't like Draco Malfoy by comparing him to Harry or concepts of good. He's not ment to be a nice character, but he's still a good character. He's the boy you love to hate, and he looks good doing it. Whats not to like?
Of course I like Draco. How can you not. I mean he is one of the most classic slimeball characters ever created. He makes bad so much fun. I mean you loathe him but at the same time you just can't wait to see what he will do or say next. You love to hate him and hate to love him. I mean the potter series would be boring without him, well maybe not boring but drastically different. Without a bad force you do not recognize the good force. So without a antogonist you can't have a protagonist. Without evil there is no good as there is no basis for comparison. As is the case with Harry and Draco. Harry is everything that is right with the world and Draco seems to be everything that is wrong with it. So I could not love Harry the way I do if it wasn't for that sinister man that I adore - Draco Malfoy! ~Hanna
