I am sure that many of you know that there will never be one thing that the entire world will agree to or accept. many people are exused by reason of religion, upbringing, culture and even health from liking or not accepting a certain thing. As such it is only fair that we allow people to freely express their views on certain things whether positive or negative.
Harry Potter is of no exception and we all have to resign to the fact that some persons just wont love it as much as we do ; each for their own good reason i'm sure. But when ppl try and argue against something and convince others not to accept it by using something that they know nothing about , I get really pissed off!!(please pardon the french)
While I was channel surfing the other day, I came accross a rather interesting show on A&E that featured a lively discussion on the negative effects that Harry Potter has on the minds of young children.
" Harry Potter incorporates devil worship and voodoo to influence the minds of fragile youth to join the accult" was the steady and stagnant point of view throughout the entire segment. Not one of those bastards had anything good to say . They even talked about those retarded children in the states who jumped off a sky scraper on broomsticks because they had just read the first book and thought they could fly too(idiots!).
I dont know why they want to insist on using parents' lack of knowlege on proper breast feeding and know -how about sitting their God damned kids down and explaining what the hell is real and what's not to argue that Harry Potter is a bad influence on their already burbon soaked kids.
And what's worse is that they invent some silly notion of Devil worship and voodoo and force it on poor J.K Rowling and tell her that her book is no good. What the hell do they Know!.....maybe if they actually read one of the damned books and cut back the verbal bull Shucks for one day they wouldnt have to go on national television and spit out crap!!!!!

Yups you're right. I too hate when people come up dumb ideas for hating Harry Potter, like saying that it is an evil cult dealing with the Devil. They are just too slow and can come up with no other reasons that they just say random thoughts that come across their minds. I mean if according to them, Harry Potter is "evil" why don't they complain of all those violent cartoons that they show kids? Those cartoons are soooooooo violent, I have no idea why they don't complain about them. Or how about all those movies??? People are just tooo slow.
