I happened to think that the cloaked monsters in M. Night Shyamalan's "The Village" are the scariest frickin things I've ever seen.

*shudder* especially scary when you think its not real and they tell you its not real and even go to a length to show you how fake it is... and then it is real.

Alex, I edited your poll to put the Village creatures in. I love those creatures; they're so cool and creepy.

Ringwraiths. Uhhhh...

I say Those who must not be named becuase those things are creepy man, all ugly and discusting, they are sure to cause nightmares to the little ones.

The Village was one amazing film! I definitely enjoyed it, and the music definitely contributed to the creepiness of the creatures so that's where my vote lies! Dementors are definitely creepy, don't get me wrong!, but I think that the mystery that surrounded the creatures in The Village just made them a degree more scary.

I'd be more paranoid about the creatures than dementors :lol: *shrugs*

I think the Dementers are very scary. I haven't seen The Village yet. The Wraiths were scary too but not that scary.

No way! :P worry more of the creatures than dementors!

Neither the dementors nor the ringwraiths scared me, and I've not seen The Village yet (yeah, I don't get out much... :D), so I chose other.

My choice for other... I don't know if it really counts, but I was relatively freaked out by the movie The Mothman Prophecies. You never really see the 'creature' that I remember, but I do believe it flashes a bit of a cloak or something at times. Then again, it wasn't really too scary...
