O - Occlumency - is a necessary prerequisite to defeat a Legilimens' lie-detector abilities without suspicious behaviour such as avoiding face-to-face contact and eye contact. Elementary Occlumency involves clearing the mind of thought and emotion, so that the Legilimens can find no emotional ties to memories that the target wishes to conceal. Simple resistance to attack requires similar skills to those needed to resist the Imperius Curse. In its more advanced form, Occlumency allows the user to suppress only feelings and memories that contradict what the user wishes a Legilimens to believe, thus allowing the Occlumens to lie without self-betrayal.

Oliver Wood considered her to be a superb Chaser, along with Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet, who are a year older than Katie. As a member of the team, Katie has taken her share of rough play, including a time when Montague of Slytherin intentionally grabber her head instead of the Quaffle, nearly unseating her. Katie, along with Alicia and Angelina, joined the DA She had a bit of a run-in with Peeves in a spare classroom where students were taking their break; he pelted her with ink pellets and eventually emptied an entire inkwell over her head. During his first practice as Gryffindor Keeper, Arther out of nerves passed her the Quaffle so hard that she missed the catch and was hit in the face, causing a nosebleed. It shows the entire Hogwarts grounds, including seven secret passages out of Hogwarts and into Hogsmeade. The map also shows the location of people. It would seem that people only appear on the map if there is some reason for them to be there. A little miniscule figure of Hermione only appeared once he gained possession of the map and needed to use it. The map magically shows the entire castle at once. The map looks like a large but empty piece of old parchment until it is activated with the words "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." To clear the map, the phrase "Mischief managed" must be spoken.

Q- IS FOR QUAFFLE
Quaffles are the main goal scoring ball in the game of qudditch. The Chasers pass the quaffle back and forth until one shoots the ball through the opposing teams goal post or into the baskets, according to which country the game is played in. The quaflle once a leather ball with grip holes or a strap, is now a seamless ball with gripping charms which rendered holes and straps useless.
