Title: Find the Sorcerer's Stone Game
Description: Round Six

Minerva McGonagall - June 24, 2004 01:32 PM (GMT)
Yes, it's that time again! Round Six already! Congratulations to those who have already won before. And the boring stuff first...

Here are the rules and such for those who haven't played the game before:

This game is really quite easy. To start it off, I will pick a place to 'hide' the Stone. Then you can ask questions (yes or no questions only) and see if you can find where I've 'hidden' the Stone. One question only per post, but you can post multiple times until I answer your questions. (Don't double post though, wait for someone else to ask something before you post another question.)

For example- Say I've 'hidden' the Stone in Dumbledore's office. You could ask:
Is it at Hogwarts? -Yes-
Does a man have it? -Yes- (because it is in Dumbledore's office)
Does Dumbledore have it? -Yes-
Is it in his office? -Yes-

Now, I will be hiding the stone in more obscure locations than that. The Stone can be hidden anywhere that is mentioned in the Harry Potter books.

The Sorcerer's Stone has been hidden! Can you find it?

Okay mega idiotic feelings here...but what is the Union Jack? That's another name for England's flag, or the pattern, technically, because it shows up in other flags too.

I definitely do not live in England. but I still know about ol' good Union Jack.. We just have to narrow the place a bit..

So; the Thames is made of water, so Is it in London?

For now I have to use one question to make sure we still follow the rules set a *long* time ago:

Is the place mentioned in the first five books (as it should be)? [FBAWTFT & QTTA, Harry's schoolbooks, not included]

To clarify things: The Egypt, where Weasley's visited - or the other like faraway places where were nothing directly story-related incidents occurring but mentioned in the books, should not also be counted for...

It's just about the importance about the places 'mentioned' in the books; Like we know Weasleys visited Egypt and pyramids - the place is not related to story itself, so it should not be included as a place to 'hide the stone'.

Okay; we shall go on for now:

Is it at Little Hangleton?

Closed. Maybe Elizabeth can use this spot in a later game in the Castle Limits forum, where you can earn points for winning. Check out Round Nine over there. :)
