Click to select the Search All Subdirectories check box, and then click OK.
In the Search Results dialog box, click the Emcookie.dat file, and then click Delete on the File menu.
Click OK, click Yes if you are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the file, and then click Yes to update theSearch Results dialog box.

Internet Explorer 4.01 or 5.0 for UNIX on HP-UX or Sun Solaris
Change to the .microsoft folder in the user's home folder.
Change to the Cookies folder in the .microsoft folder.
Delete all .txt files that are located in this folder. For example, delete the user@www.example.com.txt file.

Thanks for this, although oddly enough I have not had problems such as this here at ddnt I have experienced the same at other IF Boards. This is something however, I will use in future. Thanks for posting Jeremy and Thanks Fremon for the tip greatly appreciated. :)

Liam, DDNT's speed is tremendous compared to other boards, also. That helps.

Fremon must have done something because this use to happen all the time to me, but now I've been logged in for a few days.

ok, i didn't know where to post this. I keep having trouble logging in to this board. i sign in w/ my user name, Hermione, and my password and its says "logging in Hermione" and then it brings me back to the board but i'm not logged in. If you could help me w/ this problem that would be great since i can't log in please don't PM me but e-mail me at renreno@aol.com, thanks!
