Hi Everyone, I was just thinking about who the Head boy and girl will be in Harry and the gang's seventh and final year. I myself am rooting for Draco/Hermione. But I know opinions vary. Please vote and tell me why you voted that way. Can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts on this. Hanna

It almost has to be but you never know, Harry has a way of bending the rules.

I'm all for Draco and Hermoine. One of my fave ships in fan-fics. Though he may be a total jerk, he does well in lessons (or so it seems) so he would fit the profile for a Head Boy.

its going to be Harry and Hermione. Yes, yes, lets see, well Harry was suposed to be the prefect int he 5th book but Dumbledore thought he had to much to handel. Ron is not a very good prefect let alone a Head Boy. And lets face it the boy who lives will be the Head boy. Hermione we ALL know she is going to be head girl no matter what.. perfect stdent high grades, prefect ect. ect. Plus Harry and Hermione dig each other so head girl and boy will be going out :D

I think it'll be Harry and Hermione. Of course Hermione will be head girl for obvious reasons, but I think head boy will be Harry. He would have been a prefect if Dumbledore hadn't been so worried about him. I also do not think that Dumbledore would make Draco head boy because of how the times are right now. Not with Voldemort returning and Draco's father being a Death Eater and all. I think Dumbledore will choose people who can lead the school in a good direction and Draco would be in it for the power, not to set an example or anything like that. I know Harry gets into trouble a lot, but he's in quite a difficult situation.

But then again, why did Dumbledore make Draco a Perfect.

Good point Velshar! Draco obviously despite other facts has the grades and the capability to make a good leader and or role model.

Draco's Father probably threatened Dumbledore and the Hogwarts Board, especially to let Draco be a Prefect. Dumbledore sees the evil in Draco.

Ah, but you are forgetting Dumbledore has a second chance way of looking at things. He may see the benefit of putting Hermione and Draco together as head boy and head girl. He would look at the ways Hermione could influence Draco for the better. It is a teacher's nature when they see a kid going awry to do things to try and stop it. Just because Draco is the son of a prominent Death Eater does not mean that the kid has to turn out the same way, and Dumbledore knows that. Look at Sirius Black. Most of his family was dark wizards, but he is not. If people keep telling you that you are something your not, eventually you become that. So if someone shows Draco a little faith, then maybe he can turn out differently. Hanna

I agree with Hanna on this one. I think that Dumbledore will choose Hermoine and Draco. A.) To try and make him a nicer person and B.) To promote 'inter-house friendships'

I personally do not think Draco is going to become a Death Eater. I'm one of those weirdos that think he'll end up saving Harry's life or something equally wonderful.

You know, I've change my mind. I think you might just be right about Hermione and Draco. It seems like something that would happen you know. I think Draco will become a Death Eater, but I also think that Draco will save Harry somewhere down the line and probably vice versa, then I think Draco will one day leave his evil ways behind. I don't ever think they will ever be best buddies or anything, but I think by the end they will have found some level of respect or at least understanding between them by the end. At least I hope so.
