Description: Eye Candy Suggestions

So, I've had a few requests to add "eye candy" into my levels, and you can request what you want to see in there here. I've already done extensive revising of the textures in E3M1, because it kinda doesn't make sense the way it was.

Well, use more textures. Light fixture textures are always good. Also, try using some decorative object sprites.

Mainly what you need to do is shape the rooms to give them more character, that goes a LONG way to turning a chamber from a boring square into say..... a flemoid nest or somesuch.

Hmmm... Right now, I'm focusing on the first level because I think it needs decoration the most. I just finished up a couple of new raw zorch textures, so I'll be able to make one room into a main factory room. (I'm opting for the room in which there are square platform-stair things.) I have also retextured most of the first level so that it has more variety, and have put small hangars into the second room, to make it seem like an atrium or a gateway of some sort. (This production facility is not underwater any more; that just doesn't make sense.) I have also added various light fixtures, slime fountains, slimed Chex warriors, among various other decoration doo-dads.

Everything sounds good then. Sprucing up your levels with decor makes it look better. Otherwise, your ideas are excellent for your maps, like the elevator fight.

If you want help on decorting, check out my levels or xbolts. Both have good use of decorations.

OK. I'll give NewMaps and your levels another run-through, then.

On another note, here are some screenies! YAY! :D

And finally, a Zorch producer. The foremost texture is actually animated.
