So I'm sure most of you noticed my absence yesterday. My area suffered a HUGE power outage due to a massive storm going through. I went 28 or so hours without power, and am currently somewhat snowed in.

Thankfully power was restored earlier today, and the storm should be getting a little gentler over the next few days so I'll be able to get out and about and relieve this cabin fever I've got now.

28 hours is nothing- last year we had no power IN THE COUNTY for about a week (snow storms + federal disaster area= misery)

wow. One time our power went out just as soon as we went to bed, and I woke up the next morning and tried to turn on the tv. Didn't work. I hit the remote on the floor, then push power, and the whole houses power came back, and the tv worked. I didn't notice the problem, till the news said something about it.

The biggest one I've had is a (relatively) huge ice storm I had to go through several years ago. The power was put for three-odd days in winter with ice and snow everywhere, no electricity, no heat, and no oven. Thicker clothing was necessitated. Yay for smoke flavored biscuits, oatmeal, and coffee induced by way of cooking them in a fireplace. :P

Oh, I've gone through longer before. But when you need an internet connection [and a computer to receive said internet connection] for several business deals you're negotiating, well..... 28 hours is an eternity.

Kuwabara and I faced this a few weeks ago. Glad you got your power back, as I WAS wondering where you were. I just assumed life beckoned.
