Title: Par time please!
Replica - January 5, 2008 04:37 AM (GMT)
I've been trying to get the par, I any one could "Speed run my levels" and record their fastest time. It would be very helpful.

I've noticed on your levels, I got confused alot, even after I played them a few times... I couldn't speed run them, especialy with my computer fritzed.

 Even E1M1? You should try playing it some more....

No, thats one level I don't get stuck on. Easy. But when you get to mazes and secret passage ways, and the real missleading "The hotel! Take the elevator down..." It took me forever to figure out where to go! (back through the teleport) Even after playing it 10 times. every time. And i'd love to play anyones mod, but my comp is..s <_<

They are very confusing and hard. Not getting any outta me.

I don't quite understand. Are you wanting to change the par times on the original Chex Quest, record them, or what?

I need to make a par time for my CH3 game, and i was wandering if some one could speed run them. And give me their time.
Manny Cav - January 10, 2008 10:07 PM (GMT)
Ah. What you want me to do is speed-run your 5 levels, send you the times, and for you to add 30 seconds to the time as by the standard
par time format in Doom. Correct? Also, would I start each level with minimal resources (no extra zorchers, 100% health, 0% armor, 50 mini-zorcher "clips," etc.)?

Well, Zdoom make it so you begin with all of your things. (Even when you die) So you are alloud to. Oh and you are very correct :approve: .
Manny Cav - January 11, 2008 12:52 AM (GMT)
Do you just want me to do a normal speed-run through your WAD without artificially altering my equipment, like a complete play-through without restarting the level, and sending you the times? (Also, it seems that the Doom times had :30 added to them, and were rounded to the nearest time divisible by 15, like ends with :00, :15, :30, or :45.)

You should run it like you regularly would. But as fast as you can. and just right the time down on a pease of paper. Thanks for the 15 seconds thing. I'll do that :)
