ZorchDude - January 3, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
The new release!
Level 1 is finished, and an unfinished Level 2 that's useless is started.
Hope you enjoy! :D

slimeinator - January 3, 2008 05:05 PM (GMT)
Sendspace is a drag...

ZorchDude - January 3, 2008 05:51 PM (GMT)
Yea, I know. I had a better hosting servive but that blew up in my face.

slimeinator - January 3, 2008 06:01 PM (GMT)
What blew up in your face?

ZorchDude - January 3, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
www.willhostforfood.com
Metaphor. It's become bad now.

slimeinator - January 3, 2008 07:14 PM (GMT)
Try Filefront.

ZorchDude - January 3, 2008 07:34 PM (GMT)
No, I tried it and it's too complicated.

slimeinator - January 3, 2008 07:49 PM (GMT)
TOO COMPLICATED!? It's simple!

atariangamer - January 3, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
Thats actually one of the easiest uploaders on the net!

ZorchDude - January 4, 2008 12:29 PM (GMT)
No. I don't want to register.
DOWNLOAD IT WITH WHAT I HAVE AND COMMENT ON IT, FOR ####'S SAKE!

Manny Cav - January 6, 2008 03:02 PM (GMT)
Filefront can be a genuine pain in the neck to download from at times, so I would never recommend it to ANYONE. There's nothing particularly wrong with sendspace, in my opinion.

I'll comment on the mod when I can find a chance to play it on my computer.

Loremaster - January 7, 2008 04:51 AM (GMT)
So far so good! Level was a mite small, but it was very good. Architecture was very good, and the dialog added greatly to the feel. I think you might need a TAD bit more zorch ammo [or else I didn't find it all] for the large zorcher, but otherwise it's great.

ZorchDude - January 7, 2008 09:41 AM (GMT)
Thank you, both of you. :)
I mistaked 'Large Zorcher ammo' for 'Large small zorcher ammo' X.x Or is it 'Mistoke'?

Loremaster - January 7, 2008 06:28 PM (GMT)
Mistook

Mob720 - January 7, 2008 11:50 PM (GMT)
The playing is good from the first level. I don't understand why you merged both levels together, though. I say, like loremaster, the level is a little small. Maybe add a teleporter to, say, a wing of the building, to add on. The first room on level 2 looks very nice, I have to say. I like what you did with that :approve: .

ZorchDude - January 8, 2008 08:07 AM (GMT)
I merged both levels together? I didn't do that. I extended the first, and added a little room that LOOKED like the second level, but you could only enter with NOCLIP.
A teleporter? No way. I can't do that for crap. Maybe in the second level in the yellow wing, but...
Thank you. :) I had fun with it.

Mob720 - January 9, 2008 12:19 AM (GMT)
Well, like, on the second level I used NOCLIP and got went to the other level and it was all there.

ZorchDude - January 9, 2008 07:49 AM (GMT)
Wrong. MOST OF IT was there. That was simply compatibility with the windows.

Steps to making a Teleporter.

Step one. Make it the Teleport linedef 70. Put in map spot tag 1, and sector tag what ever your next tag is.
step 2, Make a sector with the same tag as the Linedefs "Sector Tag".
step 3, Put a "Map spot" thing in Zdoom things, in the sector. Tag that 1.
Step 4, if you want it to be repeatable, simply put the repeatable Cigarette in.
Step five/review, make sure you have the action "When player walks over"
Make it a switch, Simply put Press use in.

Edit = i should post this in the gzdoom editing tips....

Mob720 - January 10, 2008 04:27 AM (GMT)
Or prefab Boingo's teleporters. That's what I did. :approve:

ZorchDude - January 10, 2008 07:50 AM (GMT)
I'm using GZDOOM, Mob. Legacy ****s up my computer sound wise.

Mob720 - January 11, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
You might be able to, although I have no experience in editing GZdoom, so if that doesn't work, you might have to try something else, like a regular square one.

:duh: :duh: :duh:

Alright lets clear some things up.

@Mob, He's using Hexen Format, in witch he cannot use the legacy teleporter. However, he can make a prephab of TUCQ without properties. And add them in later.

@Zorchdude Dude!!!! Your only 12.... (I think) And your using that kinda language!

On topic note. You can indeed use the Prephab without using legacy. Hence the "Compatableness" Gzdoom has with legacy.

ZorchDude - January 11, 2008 07:50 AM (GMT)
The 'compatibulnuss' is simply 3d floors (Alligned with a different special) and some dynamic lighting. And some 'Fragglescript.'
And I'm 11. I just put the *s, not the swear.

Replica - January 11, 2008 01:33 PM (GMT)
 Yes.... Legacy uses doom format that indeed has to work with GZ"DOOM".

ZorchDude - January 11, 2008 04:57 PM (GMT)
I AM USING puppiesING HEXEN DOOM FORMAT. NOT puppiesING DOOM DOOM FORMAT. GET IT IN YOUR THICK SKULL.

Replica - January 11, 2008 08:10 PM (GMT)
:duh: X 100

You can use prephabs from doom format into hexen format. :duh:

A lot of people my age say that... and I am as old as you said.

(Although I am not one of them that cusses.)

Any luck with the teleporter yet?

ZorchDude - January 12, 2008 10:50 AM (GMT)
I haven't tried yet.
But I might use it. :P
