Newmaps is SO COOL!!! The best part about it is its difficulty. I barely survived the encounter with Ultimus on E2M8. I discovered your hidden E3M8. :ph43r: "Mutant Cactus." Lol. Any progress lately? Can't wait until the next beta!

Its the first mod I played, even before tucq. I thought it was perfect, a mix of new technique and classic style. His last update was with the skipable cutscenes, but he says that the next release will be released WhenItsDoneTM. (I've grown to hate this...but you can't help but laugh at it!)

I've been playing NewMaps for a couple months, and I only just got around to posting about it.

Sorry, no progress lately... I still have two unfinished levels in episode 3 that I haven't touched in two and a half weeks... Still trying to come up with something new that I can put in there...

Well, I always play on Super Slimey, so what can I say?

Yep. Pretty much does. Super Slimey is the funnest mode because the Flemoids re-appear and they're uber-fast. And if I can't play Super Slimey mode because of a glitch... I can flip a few switches to make it like Super Slimey mode! (Under the Options menu in the Legacy start menu.)

Hmm...no ideas still? Try these two in our last progress post:

One you have to swim up a slime water fall with caves in the water fall back where the exit is (this was anon's idea)

The other is a large bridge, like the brooklyn bridge, that you have to cross, then come back with the exit on the tower in the middle. (this was mine)

That would finish your 3rd episode and start on the 4th!
