Title: The Ultra Zorcher
Description: Super Shotgun replacement
ZorchDude - December 30, 2007 01:31 PM (GMT)

The IFC have this extra-strong Zorcher under wraps from everyone, including the Chex Warrior. But because he broke into the base trying to defeat the Flemoids and their allies, they have no choice but to let him use it. The main problem with it is that it takes to long to recharge after it shoots.

Super awesome! I'm guessing it replaces the Super Shotgun?
ZorchDude - December 30, 2007 05:06 PM (GMT)
If you looked at the secondary title, slimeinator, you would know that it does.
Thank you all for the positive comments! :)

*long whistle* Pretty sporty zorcher there, Dude! Howzit look in game? Actually, if you can draw it high quality, there is a hi-res sprite ability in ZDooM and GZDooM.
Actually, If you could do some other replacements...like a new MiniZorcher, we'd be good! I think we need a new set of weaponry in our attack on slime! ^_^

I dont see why they need replaced. after all Zdoom decorate can make new zorchers.
ZorchDude - December 30, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
I'm not replacing it, I'm making DECORATE BASED off of it, not replacing it.
And I have no need or want for a MiniZorcher replacement.
atariangamer - December 30, 2007 08:32 PM (GMT)
No, no. I didn't want the sprites replaced or anything. I just was thinking...like in neodoom you mostly have the same set of weapons (pistol, punch, shotgun...) but newer, different sprites were used. Like a skin pack, but for weapons. I mean, zorchers. I'm kinda getting used to the same old sprites, and I kinda wanted some other options! Ya know?..or maybe ya don't...
ZorchDude - December 30, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
No, I know.
I like the original images. And I can't sprite for crap. I'm a PILLOW SHADER *sobs*
atariangamer - December 30, 2007 08:38 PM (GMT)
Hey, don't worry! You really don't need all that. Just copy the picture, one frame at a time, onto a blue background. Then adjust the height so that each floats above the ground at the same height, then put them in a wad with the appropriate names. (Easier said than done, but...)

2 thumbs up :approve: :approve: NICE
ZorchDude - December 31, 2007 09:30 AM (GMT)
I've been wadding for longer then you have, Atari. Ever heard of Sonic Robo Blast 2?
Anyways, thanks Pikazec. :)
atariangamer - December 31, 2007 03:43 PM (GMT)
yeah...please don't tell me that you helped make that...I've been trying to download it for a while, but all I want is the engine and the wad, zipped, cause the 66mbs kills my net.
ZorchDude - December 31, 2007 03:45 PM (GMT)
No, I didn't. But I started wadding with it, and that's how I'm now.
Look for my other topic about
Prehistoric Chex life!EDIT: Ohh, good luck. The 66mb IS just the engine and WAD file.

Normally, when you fire a zorcher like that, green lights gradually replace the red ones, but your frames (and there appear to be not enough to replace the full super shotgun frame set) only have the full light array lighting up instead of it being a gradual process.

As he said Manny, hes using Decorate ;) .
Lucius Octavion - January 6, 2008 08:08 PM (GMT)
That would be cool if you put four zorch projectors on it instead of just two.
atariangamer - January 6, 2008 08:12 PM (GMT)
It makes sense. A double barreled shotgun, a double large zorcher...both had x2 projectors. But...for some reason, the power wasn't x2...more like x8!
Replica - January 6, 2008 09:13 PM (GMT)
You should uuse Strifes Double zorcher.
Manny Cav - January 6, 2008 09:26 PM (GMT)
I'm going to put myself in the line of fire by saying I like the looks of this zorcher better that Strife's. I wasn't keen on the idea of Fred holding two zorchers like that, because why couldn't he do it with the others? I like this better.
atariangamer - January 6, 2008 09:40 PM (GMT)
okay...WHERE CAN I GET ANY OF STRIFE'S CHEX QUEST STUFF?!?! Everyone talks about it, but all links are dead. Thats one thing manny hasn't posted on his site.

Seach "Members" And then click "strife" go to "Find all topics by this member" And it should be on the top. "Level pack" or somthing....

I really want to get his permission to mirror his levels first. I've got both of his level packs on my hard drive, but I want to hold out on that one. Shall I ring him up, should I not find other working links, especially for the second level pack?
Replica - January 8, 2008 03:37 AM (GMT)
I've tried e-mailing him a week ago about his music, but he wont reply. But you could try....
ZorchDude - January 8, 2008 07:46 AM (GMT)
Ah, Strife.
Could someone PM me up a Scotty Link to his WADs?
Manny Cav - January 8, 2008 01:52 PM (GMT)
ZorchDude - January 8, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
Neat. :P
I don't like his Double Large Zorcher though.
I like that slime ball SPID?0 sprite! I is gonna steal :P
Replica - January 8, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
You'll have to ask his permission.
