The setting of the episode of Generation 2 is a war between the Galactic Federation of Cereals against the flemoids.
ehh, i chose slimy conflict. It, IDK, fits into the whole purpose of chex quest. I don't think the creators wanted to call it a war. A conflict creates friction with out the other things that come with war. I don know, I might be reading too far into this.
