And this topic is kind of pointless.

Nope, just make it less hard on easy ;)

atariangamer - December 17, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
well, I had 8 miniutes to be on the computer this morning. I couldn't get to the end in that time. WITH IDDQD ON. <_< That shows either a determination to totaly kill the player, or you totaly messed up the elevator. WAY TOO TALL. everything else was cool. just tone it done one notch.

True_Dude - December 18, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
I think that some parts shoul be slgihtly lighter, I can't use legacy 'cause it locks up in the elevator room, and in Zdoom it's too dark to see anything. Plus, make it a bit shorter ceiling in some rooms please. :P

True Dude,
THIS MOD WON'T WORK ON ZDOOM!!!!!!!!! It works on GZdoom, but not Zdoom. Mostly because of lighting and generalized linedef actions.

If your mod doesn't work on Doom Legacy or ZDoom, then I would suggest updating your readme.

DooM Source Port        : Requires DooM Legacy version 1.41 or
1.42 running The Ultimate DooM or
the original IWAD from Chex Quest.
Will not work with Legacy version 2.0
                                    or higher.

atariangamer - December 18, 2007 06:20 PM (GMT)
the elevator works for me in legacy...but I kinda don't like that room.
Why would you put in 2.0 or higher if it hasn't even been released yet?

Lucius Octavion - December 18, 2007 08:10 PM (GMT)
slimeinator, chill out man. Enough outbursts, alright? <_<

Because the readme was copied off of TUCQ's readme, but he just forgot to edit that particular part.

He never said it wont work on legacy ;)

True_Dude - December 18, 2007 10:32 PM (GMT)
I think the reason it won't work on legacy is because of the enormous amount of flemoids, and my computer is an XP, too.

slimeinator - December 18, 2007 11:59 PM (GMT)
The entire mod is made for Doom Legacy. True Dude, my computer is ALSO an XP, and it runs the elevator just fine. Soon there will be a bug fix release to fix some urgent things I found.

Manny Cav - December 19, 2007 01:42 AM (GMT)
Ah, Doom Legacy. So, it will run on GZDoom, but you recommend Doom Legacy. :) I've started playing it. I'll let you know what I think of it when I finish.
