Title: Texture Problems with GZDoom
Description: All Textures are White

mattbratt11 - November 14, 2007 02:03 AM (GMT)
I just Downloaded GZDoom. when I Play it, All Textures turn into White.
How can we fix the whites into real textures like ZDoom did?

What type of computer? Windows, etc.

There is an option in display that disables textures and makes them white. Either you have that setting on or your rendering is messed up. Perhaps it is also trying to use hires textures that aren't there.

It's your rendering. Go to opengl options and go to the rendering selections and flip through the ones till you get one that shows your textures. This exact thing happened to me.

This is another Texture Problem in GZDooM.

I loaded TUCQ Phase 1 graphics, maps, sprites, and others into a shareware doom wad. The only problem is that it won't accept the texture1&2 and pnames lumps, saying it wants to use patches over 422. Help?

Well, boingo used larger lumps in legacy for alot of flats. (Floors) Would that be what your talking about?

not size, but patch number. you said earlier that right clicking a texture and saying "add to Pnames" would fix it? I'll try it.

Try deleting the patch names lump. And load the patches in again. That should do it.
