Title: Warning! Warning!
Description: Too little feedback.. Project may close!

Dvader0086 - August 27, 2007 09:34 PM (GMT)
I need help from you guys to make the changes to this game and so far I've got no feedback in my vote for changes topic... If I can't hear feedback from you guys on how what you like or dislike about the game, I may assume that it is not getting the fan base it needs and it may close... I don't want to do that but every one here has a computer and the ability to download doom legacy and the latest WAD... So, help me help you... If you are wanting to see this project succeed and grow then you need to help me...

I can't know if people are playing it now and know if people want to see more from me if I don't get feedback... This does not apply to only my project, but to many others... People open polls in they're projects for the reason to make it better... If they cannot get the feedback they need then when it is done, people won't want to play it... When I ask for feedback I want to know if I should continue my working on it, if you even play it or not... If no one plays it then I assume it's not wanted...

So please vote and tell me what's wrong with it and what you liked about it, or I may abandon it, for reasons that no one is playing it... Just remember I download your WADs and leave feedback for you... You should do the same...

You probably know this by now, but I played your WAD, liked it (for the most part), and offered feedback. You can probably check on FileFront to see how many times it's been downloaded. However, please don't scrap the project. There's a lot of work to be done, but it CAN be done, if you really put some effort into this. Just look at how many replies the redux topic got. It's not that people don't like your project, or don't play it. It's just that sometime, people get busy, with, you know, "real life".

I know, but How am I supposed to make it better if I get no feedback? I suppose They might speak up if I do something the really don't like...

I wasn't downloading the alphas, because the file size was big. I was going to wait until it was finished before downloading it. But since you released the cut down version, I'll probably get to play it in the next couple days.

The work so far is good. I just don't really feel like playing until there's some new levels.

I can't play it due to a glitch- There's something wrong with COMPUTE1, COMPUTE2 and COMPUTE3 Patches and other stuff.
I am playing with Doom legacy, Doom2 IWAD with a Bat.

OK, I just gave it a quick playthrough. The new Flemoids are pretty cool, but those guys sure eat up a lot of zorch... I got partway through MAP02, then I faced three Cycloptises with nothing but a spoon... Needless to say, I was slimed. I'll try again later to see how far I get.

(Flemoid infighting is an invaluable tactic here.)

I played through the wad. for the most part the doomish textures was well, annoying. and the file size would take me hours to download. i downloaded the second alfa. and look threw it with xwe. i dont understand why you have Nintendo music. all i hear is Metriod music, ridly remixes... mario music. to get rid of the nasty size of your wad. go in xwe, and in file theirs a "CLEAN UP WAD" hit that. it changed my 24 kg to 12 kg. :)

It looks like making an MP3-less version is giving your project more attention. Mabey the community is speaking...?

I don't even have access to my .WADs currently, much less engines and such. Give us time, most of us are starting school back up!

Sounds to me like your not using the IWAD as an IWAD... Try going in single map mode, then load the map you want... Also make sure you have CQROTQ as the main IWAD too...

I am also glad that I am getting some feedback... At least I know people are playing it...

As for MP3's, maybe I'll hold off releasing a full Alpha with those until I make all the necessary changes to the wad. I'll still keep the larger versions on filefront.com. When phase 1 is done, then I'll release it...

It looks like I'm not going to close the project after all but I want to make this clear: I NEED SPRITE HELP! I ALSO NEED LEVELS! I am working on the queen now but also need help making other monsters...

and the music?!!!!!!

what about the music?! The MP3's I selected are not all Nintendo... I picked out some new songs I never heard before and some I did... Some of them are by SEGA and some are by SONY... I know you don't like Nintendo so some of those songs may change into different ones... You should let me know by PM AFTER you heard the MP3's what you think... If it's too much like playing a Nintendo, then I'll let the people decide the fate...

I've been a great fan of NINTENDO i wont even buy thwe othe systems!

That's probably not his issue. He wasn't very clear, though, so I guess you'll have to wait for further explination.

i dont like sony and microshoft. well, the music you chose are battle music. two of them are the same, both battle music.... it just doesnt fit the Chex q
uest feel.....

I know, I know... We are supposed to make it kid friendly, and well I think it will make it sound a like a darker tale then the other games... Harry Potter is a dark story and kid read that... So the music is for a little older crowd... I find cool music and put it on the game... Besides not all kids play E-10 forever... I know it takes away the chex-ish feel, but in the story those are dark time and I think the music sets the mood well...
