I wanted to convert the Chex Quest Commercial off of the Gmail account from SWF format to a more user friendly format, like AVI or whatever, before putting it up on my Chex Quest Gallery. However, when I tried to convert it to AVI with my video converting software, it distorted it quite badly. It's a bit of an inconvenience to have to open it up in Internet Explorer to play it. Can someone help me to convert it to a better video format? You can find the video in the Chex Quest Gallery, or download it here.

Firstly, is it .swf or .flv? I have some converters, or know where can be found, depending on the format required.

That's a lot of converters to sort through, and I have no guarantee that it will be any better than the software I already have (which, in case you're wondering, is Total Video Converter). Can you make a recommendation, or do it for me in some way?

EDIT:nvm, only converts .avi to .swf


I find the swf format easy to handle, but have it you way.
