It began before I registered here when I wanted all of the old Doom monsters replaced from the original chex.wad. When I got partway through this, it eventually turned into an attempt to create what a fully functioning Chex Quest IWAD would have looked back in 1996. This meant replacing all Doom maps, music, monsters, sprites, etc., everything. As such, this WAD is designed to run off of the Ultimate Doom engine so to achieve this with more perfection.
The New Chex Quest 2 and Final Chex are similar in that they are Chex Quest IWAD's for Doom 2 and Final Doom: The Plutonia Experiment, respectively. There will not be a "The New Chex Quest 3" for Final Doom: Evilution, as there are certain level designs in that WAD that violate CBA Studios policy. The New Chex Quest 2 and Final Chex don;t replace maps, but are otherwise the same as The New Chex Quest. I have also replaced all flats and patches form Doom 2 and Plutonia Experiment to Chex Quest equivalents.
My dream months, before I registered here, was to share my work with the Chex Quest community. Now, I have fulfilled that dream in full. Thank you for this opportunity to share my work with you.
