Title: I found E1M5!
Description: Very awesome level, Lucius.

You sent me a wad file when we were on Player connector once (updated version), and just tonight I figured out there was an E1M5! I have to say, I am impressed. Although not completed, I spent the night redoing and reworking the sectors, adding pickups and deathmatch starts, and I finished it. It's pretty fun, I have to say. I like the main room with the 3D floor linking the 2 doors.

If you want, I can upload it to filefront.

Lucius, I'm speaking to you...

Lucius Octavion - June 12, 2007 07:24 PM (GMT)
hmmmm,, what? wha?

Sorry for not seeing this. Yes, there is an E1M5 that is not completed yet, and I haven't worked on it since I gave you that file! :D

So I'd be glad to see what you've done. I need all the help I can get compiling a WAD with all zorchmatch levels. If more people made levels, including myself, for this, it would get done much faster, and then we would only need to worry about getting it to work. Thank you.

Please, upload it if you wish. That way other people can download it and I can post an established link to the file.

the game is aswome though. the E1M4 made my feel like i was 3 and playing CQ for the frist time ^_^ . good job

edit = oh opps, that came from my id wad
some... or most of the textures look alittle marioish

Lucius Octavion - June 13, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
The first level is a modified rip from Mario Skulltag. That's why the first level looks like mario. I plan to get rid of that level in the final version if I have to.

I hate to bring this up again, but WHERE IS THE DOWNLOAD LINK!?!? :ph43r:

Lucius Octavion - June 13, 2007 09:27 PM (GMT)
Mob just posted it! :P

Mob720, what did you change in e1m5 besides adding items and deathmatch starts. I didn't recognize redone sectors or anything.

Manny Cav - June 13, 2007 09:34 PM (GMT)

Yup. I always wanted to make that level in doom, and I made it pretty close. The only difference is that in DK, the platforms form a pentagon, but I made it a square.

And Manny Cav, what do you mean by obscure?

There should be a pinned thread at the top that contains the latest download, updates, and stuff that people can find easily, instead of having to scower every little thread.

Not in multiplayer because I fear that it will detract too much from the gameplay I am trying to achieve. Big maps are not bad, it's just that they generally are not good for arena style multiplayer, especially with not too many players.

yours is a little small, make it so its like a james bond 2player, not to big but not to small

Lucius Octavion - June 13, 2007 11:26 PM (GMT)
Believe me, it's fine for a good ol' fashioned death match. Play some Skulltag and you will know what I mean. Doom doesn't play the same as James Bond.

I can try to tell people to make various sized maps.

alright, i'll beleive you ;)

Mob720 - July 1, 2007 02:00 PM (GMT)
I redid the little vent sectors a little, and the sectors to the south of the map, they were a little of center, meaning they weren't the same length.
