First Skyline powered 350z in the world.
Here is the pictures of our new project car. The car will debut at Nopi Nationals in Atlanta, GA.
The car is a 2003 Chrome Silver 350z with a RB26DETT (Skyline GTR) motor. Single turbo kit and intake manifold are being made, wiring is being done, and the car will make over 625rwhp and driven on the street daily, and weighing in around 2900lbs.

speaking of which.. does anyone know of any swaps into preludes with non-prelude engines?

from what i've seen of the rx8 I'd say they look nasty. Like the later versions of the rx7 engine much more.
I dunno if i'd ever buy a rotary engine car. Personally I'd go 350z
lude4life - July 24, 2003 04:02 AM (GMT)
i'd definitely go with the 350z or maybe even the G35 coupe. I love those cars. Can't wait til nissan comes out with the turbo or twin turbo version, like i'm sure they will. Give it another year.
The RX8's are pretty ugly in my eyes and i'm sure they will be come pretty common with a fairly cheap base price. Plus the 4 doors thing, although functional, should really stay on the trucks in my eyes.

i like both but i'm leaning closer to the rx8 due to it's price tag.

I'd never buy a sports car with functional backseats...nevermind doors for the rear seats

y would someone do that swap? the G35 is the new skyline and we know that the G35 is basically the same car as the 350Z
lude4life - July 28, 2003 11:47 PM (GMT)
How do you mean the G35 is the new skyline?? The skyline runs the RB26DETT and the G35 runs the same motor as the 350Z.
Mr. LuDe - July 29, 2003 02:46 AM (GMT)
the G35 is the new skyline in japan....i'll try and find the pic i saw witht he G35 with nissan and skyline badges on it
EDIT:
This will have to do for now

Damn....... if thats true, i sure as hell can't wait for the GT-R to get here. Was wonderin about the G35 takin the place of the skyline. Didn't look anything like the skyline, but the GT-R has some similar cues. Too bad they dropped the RB engine. :( Wonder what they're planning to use instead??

i believe there are several skyline models in japan. the g35 coupe is probably the base model skyline in japan.
