i went to the weigh station to weigh my lude last night. my car with half tank of gas, strip trunk and other mods came up to 1310 kgs, that's 2888 lbs. with me in the car, it goes up to 3028 lbs.!
you guys curious about your cars weight? go south down pembina and look for the weight station. go at night when less trucks use the weigh station.

how does it work??? do you just ride on it and it gives you a reading??

yup, u just go on the thing and it'll give you a reading. there are other weigh stations outside of winnipeg but i'm not sure if they're open 24/7.

Yeah, 5th gen's are pretty damn heavy. I've read they are supposed to weigh in at about 3,000 lbs., but i haven't actually weighed my car yet. Just think, our cars move pretty good with that amount of weight. Think what they could do if you hacked 500-1000 lbs. out of it!! :hellzya:

i weighted my car and it was 2920lbs, thats without my chrome, just stock wheels, i dunno bout now, chrome is pretty heavy, but yeah u guys can check out tha SAFEWAY docking building, it on route 90 its across TIM HORTONS and i think there is a WENDYS too. You can weigh ur car threre too, just be nice to tha security guy there, cuz sometimes he helps you!!!!! HAHAHAH! :lol: .....and other 4 GEN LUDES that go there and weigh their car, let me know, i wanna see if mine is normal! HAHAHAHA!!!
