When is everyone up for the next Winnipeg Prelude Club meet?

My exams are done on April 28th and grad is done May 2nd (I think ???). How about the 1st weekend in May??

Personally I would prefer not to meet up at CT. From what I've seen it gets really really packed in there.

My suggestion would be to meet up at a nice quiet parking lot with some good light, line up, talk some shit, take some pics...then all roll out and drive around for a while on some unconjested streets and make our way down to portage and end up a CT for those who want to or maybe a different parking lot around the area.

That's just me...maybe i'm too old to hang out at CT all night...or maybe it's just that i'm too scared to get by scrawny ass beat up. heehee

What does everyone else think??

i feel the same way as you mo, im not big into CT, though its nice to go check out some of the a mitsubishi eclipse or score some more lude members. Id much rather cruise up down kenaston or waverly where the speed limit isnt 50, but either 70 or 80. Plus less po po.

We had a meet at the Kelsey's parking lot on empress. Huge parking lot and lots of room.

We could also meet up further away like around KP mall and cruise down to portage via lag, bishop, route90??

Personally I like more driving around together than just standing around for 5 hours. I bought my car to drive, not to sit and look at!

ah.. dont worry about it.. i can do wonders with photoshop... take a look at WPC meet #2 at my rear bumper.. and then take a look at it in person... hehe ::)

im all down for a offical meet... everyone is saying may... im pretty cool with just about any sunday... all summer...

Join the club...the shitty looking prelude club! My car is lookin ghetto as ever but I still drag my ass in it. Come out the the next meet with it, park beside me and my beater will make your car look way better.

Hey guys,
Well i'm up for an official meet just about anytime, just about anywhere. Just don't make it this weekend. I'm not planning on making the trip to the city this sunday as i got 2 exams early next week, so that'll be taking up most of my time, but like the weekend after that would be good. Meeting at KP mall would be awesome with the cruise to portage, but whatever works!

so what's the word on May 4th? I'm still up for it. I think we should meet somewhere other than Portage area...just to avoid the confusion and so we can take some pics. My suggestion was down Regent somewhere. They have lots of nice parking lots out there and then we can cruise out to Portage together. If you are interested, add your name to the list below:

BTW, does anyone have any FRS 2-way radios? It would be cool to stay in communication while we drive...plus then i can use my new one for the first time :)

I'll try my very best to make it. Where and when are we having it?

my suggestion was around KP mall somewhere...possibly at the parking lot across regent. I think theres a futureshop there and tim hortens.

I gotta get my ass in gear and get my car working...i can't miss this one!

this is probably silly.... but how about the Birchwood honda parking lot? ^__^ the security might come over and annoy us though....

as for time try to arrive around 7:30-8:00pm to give most people a chance to eat before hand...
once the majority of us are there we can take a few pics before it gets dark out and then go crusin' down regent a little, lag, bishop, and route 90. We'll probably leave to go crusin around 9 just to give time to anyone late showing up.

Besides that the plans will just unfold that night... other people can go to CT if they want (if its still even open), or we could all go there and represent yo! haha... as long as we dont get stuck in that awful main st. traffic

ill probably slap on my new tires this week.. but nobody better be laughing about me 4x4in'... ill get my suspension soon enough... (you know who you are)

Okay, make it at the Futureshop parking lot across from the KP mall. I'll try to make it out for 7:30 and wait around for everyone.

If we roll out a 9pm we can cruise out where people wanna go. Personally i'm staying away from CT. It'd be cool if other people had FRS radios so we could communicate while we drive to make sure no one gets lost...cause i can almost say forsure that i'll get lost :blink:

haha, the meet was pretty crazy. i honestly thought there'd be about 5 other ludes. we should all cruise together this time. everyone disappeared pretty fast. too bad my other buddy couldn't make it. when is the next "meet" and where are the pictures?? haha, i seen so many guys take pics but i only seen two new ones so far. i'm definitely down for the next meet.

Yeah, i'm definitely pissed i didn't force myself outta bed to go to the meet. It looked like an awesome meet. Never seen that many ludes all in one place before!! I love it!!!!!!!! Hopefully this will only be the beginning. The more the better. We all gotta go crusing after as well. Need some FRS radios or whatever, keep in constant communication then. Hopefully we have another meet soon. I may be taking a job that starts in a few weeks and the hours are looking pretty crazy so i dunno how many meets i'll be able to be at while i'm there.
