Leon accepted a cheque on behalf of UNICEF for the Asian tsunami fund and donated HK$100,000 himself to help children affected by the disaster. He has already donated to various newspaper funds and will be donating his 1995 TVB JSG Most Popular Male Singer Award and 1997 TVB JSG Gold Song Gold Award to 2 different charity auctions.
