i have heard that Leon is going to do a new movie that is about 7 swordmans or something. And a Korean actor Song Seung Hun will be there, too. And maybe with Charlie Yeung, too
Can any of 1 confirm me about this?

i THINK that's true but i can't confirm every part of it

The newspapers did say that Leon has confirmed he's starring in it but not quoted I think so I wouldn't expect anything just yet. Charlie Yeung is reported to be starring in it too whereas Song Seung Hoon is still considering the part apparently.

I don't tend to like films with too many characters and there's 6 of these films planned >.< (no idea how that's gonna work out)

ah yes could be...but would the same cast be used for all the movies? that would be a pretty big commitment.

and they're doing a lot based on one timeline - 6 movies, ~60 episode TV series, computer game, etc. :blink:

hmm i'd probably prefer the same cast, changing casts n stuff gets a lil confusing sometimes...havent seen Leon in any type of series for ages either...that'll be cool

i heard that $12 million USD ($93 million HKD) will be spent on these films...dunno if it's each film or the whole movie series. If it's the whole series...then it's not that much. If it's for each chapter (6 of them right?) then that would be incredible...

well considering the stars they are planning to have in it, i dont think the movies gonna be that cheap~ :lol:

well $93 per movie would be 3x the infernal affairs budget...which i would be very excited about

if that is spent on 6 movies though...i'm not so sure

yeah they gonna have at least 7 top names in the film then all the other characters.
if i remember correctly, crouching tiger hidden dragon and hero spent more than 93 million each so could be a possibility - this is a really big project.
