Hi guys,
Does anybody think that Leon is getting too old? I mean, he's been going at it for 16 years. I just think that if he retires soon he would be more well-remembered, rather than being an older singer still trying to keep the flame. Don't get me wrong, I'm a hardcore Leon fan here, I really love him, but I miss the good old days when he looked like Prince Charming. Now he looks old and weird with all the new fashionable clothing and haircut. At least in movies and music videos he should act his age.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone but I just want to express my sadness to see him like this.

Even though I like the ways Leon looks, but it really doesn't matter, 'cause i love his music more than Movies

I female too but I don't really think his look is really that a big issue. Perhaps yes 10 years back but now what fans idolized him are more than that, at least for me, from his musics, movies to his great personalities! ;)

BTW, I think he is the only artiste who wears stuffs at his age! :rolleyes:

Sorry, I don't really understand ur so-called 'sadness'. First of all, whether or not he looks good is up to personal opinion... there would be only 1 singer otherwise. I personally think he looks more manly now. If u think he looks weird then maybe u're not too much of a fan afterall. A hardcore fan would be one that follows his news, pics, music etc... the change in his appearance has been insignificant, so if u've been watching him frequently u probably won't even notice. The only way u would notice is if u haven't watched him since 1990. The major change is prob his hair. And abt Leon not acting his age... what??? If u've seen a singer not acting their age, well it's definitely not this singer... u're in the wrong forum.

and age doesn't have anything to do with the type of music you do. all over the world, singers at age 40 or 50 are doing the same stuff as teenagers (though the older ones are much more...polished types usually). Only in HK is it so black and white. either you're in or out. either you're good looking or you're not. sigh.

I think Leon still look the same as before.. to me, he hasn't changed at all. I enjoyed all his movies and songs.
And I will always support him regardless of his age..

To say he hasn't changed is kind of biased but to me his changes are to better like he is more mature looking now, more built compared to his skinny body 10 years back & of course the most obvious will be his hairstyle which is a lot better compared to those days which was quite 'leung' but maybe it was 'in' at that time!! :P

About him not being his age, I'm totally against it..look at XXX & YYY (better don't mention their names) & you'll say Leon is acting his age. At least he won't wear something like 'Edison's street wears', those 'flower pants', and short pants in his public appearance EXCLUDING MVs!! :P

But in movies and MVs he is required to be someone else. If he really dressed like in Happy 2000, the latest MV, etc. in real life then I'd probably be a little turned off but he doesn't. I think guys are more into fashion these days and they wouldn't be seen dead in the clothes they wore 10 years ago.
He is still the cool-headed, straight-talking, mature, charitable Leon you liked at first, just different clothes!

Actually that LXX isnt wearing much of these Edison's street wear these days but KYY still with those flower shirt..I just saw him in ent news with this green shirt & red flowers!! OMG...

lol green shirt and red flowers isn't just "not acting their age"...they should have passed that stage at age 10. in my opinion anyway

Leon's worn a flower shirt before... That purple one, just that the flowers were really big so u couldn't really see it. He wore it in Korea for Dream of Warrior promo and he wore it during Mark & Online concert... remember?

omg i don't...haha...but that was kinda like one big flower print so you couldn't really tell it was a flower. what won bin wore was very wallpaper with so many flower prints but i guess he can get away with that sorta thing - just! :P
